Excellent for Music
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OVERALL This subwoofer delivers with impressive build and sound quality. WHY I LIKE IT This 10" sub has enough power (150w RMS) to effortlessly provide that 'oomph' to kick-drums and body to bass guitar; while maintaining the composure needed to assist the sound of organs, cellos, upright bass, and timpani swells. With the gain below 25%, the room (15' x 20') is filled with bass. The build-quality is also excellent. I like that the dials, nobs, grommets are made from quality metal. Aesthetically, the copper driver is pleasant to look at :) The footprint is also small enough to fit under my coffee table with a little extra room. CONSIDERATIONS Make sure that you got a quality subwoofer cable when purchasing. This subwoofer does not come with one. MY SETUP I got this subwoofer connected to my old but good Oknyo receiver, and paired with Sony Core floor standing speakers (SS-CS3). With the crossover set at 60hz, the system sings nicely. Cheers!

Powerful Subwoofer.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Klipsch R100SW 10" reference II Powered Subwoofer is a powerful 10" sub that packs a punch. It delivers the low deep bass you need and the hard thumping bass when listening to music too. I love the look of the new line of Klipsch with the copper screws they look great. Awesome addition to my setup.

Sounds awesome!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay first impression, this thing can move some air. Placement also makes a huge difference, and of course, it's a klipsch so it's reliable and can take abuse! Has some really good mid and low range bass. Plenty of power for any small/medium room and it really fills it with bass. Upgraded from a Polk psw110 and this thing blows it out if the water, much more power handling capabilities and response. My only gripe is very small but the auto on/off takes a little longer too respond, but when it's on, you know it's on! Movies, music and video games so so full and brings them to life!

Quality Sub Worth the Price
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sub-woofer. I have had this sub for close to 2 years now. I use it mostly for enjoying music, but also for movies. It is seriously powerful, reliable, and adds the necessary deepness required to thicken the sound. Without it, the music sounds too thin and just weak. I want to feel the hits when they come! I normally leave it at 50% power and it can still shake the walls on the other side of the house. My only complaint is that I can't bring it with me when I am driving.

Good addition to the other 9 speakers.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have owned for about 1 month, this review reflects that time in use. Good addition to the 9.x.2 so now the media room is 9.1.2 and it provides the needed lower tonal the other speakers cant go that low. Only have it cranked to 1/3 power level and even then complents well. It’s rear port is angled at the front left wall with the front speaker angled away toward mid-room. The speaker is placed 1.5-2 ft from either wall. Can’t tell from where the sub-w sound is coming from but I haven’t tried it in any other location yet. Using it in auto-power on mode so I dont have to remember to power it off and works fine. Using LFE port off Denton rcvr.

Great subwoofer to start off with
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Klipsch has always been number one for me just because you get such a premium sound with a great look, with that copper spun woofer it's so great having a nice set of speakers that always has that big punch and kick to it that has very good Clarity and high pitch sound, obviously there's probably much out there that you can get, but for this price they always been a great speaker that sound amazing and it's always been there for me when I need a great kick , this subwoofer is great to start off with if you're learning or just want a great look, don't underestimate the sound quality for its size

Wow
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the sayings out there about Klipsch products is "oh there just for Rock N Roll"...not so, I listen to a wide variety of music and the bass produced by this sub is powerful clean and has good punch..liked it so much I bought 2. have one in a small family room and you can feel the bass go through you..have another in a larger basement and the sub easily had enough power to handle that room size as well. No matter the volume level you listen at you'll know it's presence. But if you like it loud the other Klipsch saying is true..it's good at upsetting the neighbors! Quality is good and it has line inputs, no speaker wire inputs. Has crossover and gain dial controls. Great for surround sound systems also.

Excellent All-Around Subwoofer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great pickup for the 5.1 system in my den. This subwoofer really packs a punch! For movies and TV shows, it makes you feel like you're right in the middle of a loud explosions, crashing waves, or under a bridge as that freight train is rumbling past above you with whistle blowing. But it also does a phenomenal job holding down the low end for music, whether that powerful kick drum or groovin' bass line that just makes you want to get up and dance! I have a pair of Klipsch bookshelf speakers that are excellent, but didn't know they made such an excellent subwoofer. So glad Best Buy had this on sale and in stock when they did.

strong crisp bass response
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced an older Klipsch down firing sub with the reference 10" front firing sub. The aesthetics are excellent from the exterior finish to the cooper spun speaker, it just looks and feels like a quality speaker. I set the cross over at 80hz and this does seem to be the sweet spot when combining this sub with the reference 602's main speakers. The bass response is amazing and very crisp when watching movies, its almost over powering though when listening to music ( with the exception of the 1812 overture, which sounds incredible) so I do turn down the line level down to three for every day use, mid way for movies. Overall this is an excellent addition to a home theater set up

Buy it and don’t look back
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this almost a year ago and it’s probably the best thing I could’ve bought. I live in an apartment and even with the gain set at or below 25% I almost feel bad for my neighbors, but it sounds amazing. It is the best part of my small 3.1 system, and the only piece I will not be upgrading for as long as it lasts. The sound is crystal clear from very low bass to the higher tones. You don’t need to read this to know this is probably the best thing you can buy. I like very bassy music that is clear, not loud. This sub more than gets the job done, I get excited to come home and let it wail.

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old Harmon Kardon sub died and I was listening with no sub for a few months. I was looking at $500 subs and honestly didn't want to spend that kind of money. Came across this klipsch on sale. Was skeptical cause of the size but let me tell you absolutely amazing! I only have the gain a quarter of the way. Phenomenal sound deep bass. It made my surround sound 10000% better. My living room isn't big but a decent size but my house rattles! My 7yr old came out his room and was like "is the house shaking" buy this sub you will not be disappointed!

Tight, Stong and Sexy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very pleased with this sub, especially at this price point. It is a gorgeous looking sub with or without the black mesh cover. The build quality is far superior to most at this price point. Power is far, far more than I need. I love being able to tweak my own crossover. Since my mains have 8" drivers, I require very little of the base frequency this is capable of, hence the crossover is essential. I even contemplated fixing my 25 year old sub, but my wife loved the sound of this so much, she talked me out of the repair. This is sweet.

Fills up a smaller room no problem great buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 2 of the 12” versions but I purchased the 10 inch because it was on sale and I needed to fill one of my smaller bedrooms with some low end and this didn’t disappoint. It’s definitely smaller which is good cause the 12 is a lot bigger. For the price and what it does I would recommend for sure it has good bass response and looks nice as does all Klipsch products. I picked up on sale and was an open box item and when I opened the box everything was brand new still if you can find and open box on sale it’s a no brainer.
