The Klipsch subwoofer is lot bigger than I thought which is a good thing. It sounds amazing and creates good bass. I like that you can adjust the frequency/bass levels as well.

Just amazing sound from this big box. Plug and play. Be aware that IT IS a big, heavy box, 14+ inches X. 400w. I can hardly turn up the volume on the back w/o making the windows and floors shake. Would need ear protection to turn the volume all the way up. Plenty of power to fund a small concert hall.

This thing literally shakes the wall. So much power that I only really keep it on about 10% of its volume. Setup was super simple. It's all the bass you could ever need and then some. Having this makes all your movies, music, really anything so much better.

If you are looking for a more affordable alternative to an SVS brand subwoofer, this is a fantastic choice. I had a 12inch SVS subwoofer for about 10 years before the amp needed to be replaced, and decided that spending over $1,000 for a new one, was a lot more than I wanted to spend. After doing a lot of research, I settled on this Klipsch Reference 12". The Reference Series is the newest model of Klipsch speakers and a significant improvement over their previous model. I am currently using this sub in a small home office room (approximately 12'x12') with 2 Bowers and Wilkins Bookshelf Speakers, and a recently acquired Klipsch C-200 Center Speaker, and yes, it is a bit overkill, but sounds amazing hooked up to my Denon Receiver, primarily being used as the sound system for my PS5. A 10inch would probably better suit such a small room and would be a good option. As far as sound goes, it has just as much loudness as an SVS, and to my ears, has a bit more punch in the bass, whereas my old SVS had more depth of resonance. For gaming, I would definitely recommend a sub with more punch.

When I first saw this subwoofer, I was pretty skeptical about listening to it and purchasing it because I really didn't know nothing about this brand but I went ahead and bought it anyway and I bought it home. Connected everything, and I was amazed in shocked on how good it sounds and how the base was so deep. So now I'm thinking about purchasing another one. My media room is a 20 / 24. So what I'm going to do is put one in the front bye, the big screen and and install 1 inside my component closet. I'm very impressed by it.I just wish it would go back on sale again

This subwoofer complements my bookshelf speakers and center speakers like I am in the movie theater! It’s so powerful I had to turn down the settings the house was shaking. I watched Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and the explosions are so loud! Love it.

The sale price point and quality of sound is perfect for my set up. This sub blend so well with my KEF speakers as if they are one. On low base settings can play softly and when a punch is need it’s there.

Had to purchase a new subwoofer to replace an older Onkyo that died. A few years ago, I upgraded my home speakers to Klipsch so thought it was time to match the subwoofer.
Holy smokes with this loud and deep! I have it supplying bass to a room approximately 750 Sq feet and turning halfway makes just about everything rattle. Nice, crisp sound comes out of this speaker and it really adds to the experience of watching TV/movie/music video, playing video games, or streaming on a music app.

Big improvements over the previous generation of reference subs. Digital amp, new speaker material, better cabinet. It’s good down to 28. Sadly doesn’t hit below that range, but good if you don’t need that.

I bought two when they were on sale because using two makes a big difference. The sound is evened out accross the room. It gets rid of the bass being concentrated from one spot, so it's like surround sound. These subs have very clean, low bass. Once they break in a little they get loud and sound fantastic. I mainly use them for movies but do listen to music sometimes. I like the little light on the front so you know when they're on.
