I got these headphones looking for a nice pair neckband headphone... after using the Klipsch R6 Neckband headphones for a bit, I decided to move up in terms of sound quality... These have pretty awesome mid and High frequencies while maintaining a decent (if not a bit punchy) bass (great for rock, jazz, pop, and even thought that hip-hop and electronic sounded pretty great)... the R6 were a lot better in the Bass frequencies than the x12 but had a muddy high and relatively similar mid range... The X12 came with a lot of different size and type of earcups (even foam) but i found myself sticking to the default size. It also came with a carrying case and a nice comprehensive instructions... one thing I didn't like is that it came in a different color (the metal rim) than what is shown in the pic, after contacting Klipsch they confirmed that the "shiney silver" rim was only on the model used for photography of item (it will be a shiney black metal rim)... Pros: -Amazing sound quality (especially in the highs and mids) -bluetooth 4.0 (and I believe it even supports aptx) -very comfortable -classy look -lots of accessories (ear cups and carrying bag) -great and responsive customer service -long battery life (18hrs) -easy to understand instructions (multi language) cons: -no retractable earbuds (coming from the LG Platinums this can get annoying as they just swing... if i need to Ill tuck them into my shirt) -punchy bass (not necessarily a bad thing but if your a bass hog and don't really care as much about the highs the R6 neckband will probably be more for you) -different color than the picture (the metal rim will come in black not a "shiny silver" color) Overall I've had great pleasure using these for music and for day to day use for calling... I would recommend these to whoever is looking for a great blend between Classy, Sound quality, and Ease of use

I bought these neckbands despite all of the negative reviews I had read online about the rubbers bubbling up around the controls. Well after only two weeks of light use mines started bubbling up around the controls also after sending them back to Klipsch I was sent a brand new pair unfortunately they had same issue the rubbers bubbling up around the controls after a couple of days of use. I love the fit, sound, and battery life but the neckbands suck as far as their build and construction you would think that for a pair of $400.00 neckbands they would be constructed better than this . Klipsch missed the mark on these big time !
