    Decent Cartridges for the Price

The cartridges fit perfectly into my Hero printer. They are a bit small for the price and it's amazing they can do as many pages as they do. They really can't be refilled which is a drawback because they are pricey. Bestbuy has a recycle area for cartridges which is good but I'd rather refill them. Then again refilling inkjet cartridges can be tricky and doesn't always work. I'm not sure if it's the printer or the cartridges but when I don't replace one simultaneously with the other then it doesn't register that both cartridges are full on my Hero 9.1 work fax and copier. Gave this product 4 stars and took off 1 star for the price versus the size. I have to replace them a bit too quickly even on draft mode.

I haven't actually used the ink from this purchase yet because I bought it using my rewards points before they expired. But, my experience is sometimes I get only a few pages before needing to replace, maybe 20 pages at the most, but this last ink has lasted longer, which is why I haven't had to replace it with my new purchase yet. I have yet to see it last as long as they say it does, though. I would say that it's not any less expensive to use than any other printer because of this. It's frustrating when you're needing to print something out but you're not able to because all of the sudden you're out of ink.

I have never had a functional or quality problem with the lower-priced (vs other brands) Kodak ink, though the cartridge runs out sooner than my old HP used to, and the price has gone up considerably since I purchased the printer (purchased under the advertised understanding that this particular printer aimed specifically to offer much lower ink costs). I know this is not directly a best buy flaw--my rating is for the consumer to consider the cost vs amount of printing you get, and Kodak's slightly underhanded scheme to advertise strikingly lower ink prices, then jack them up over time.

I replaced my old broken HP printer with a Kodak because of its ads about the replacement ink being of better value. Well, they are a little less expensive, but it 1- has less ink, or 2 - the Kodak printer just uses more ink? ---Just seems like it runs out quicker. Its only used at home for school projects and/or occasional printing, so its alright for that. However, I would not dare to actually print high quality images or photos - It would eat up the ink too quick.

    Best value on printer ink

Finally printer ink that doesn't cost a fortune. The ink is brilliant in color, doesn't smudge and a great value. I used to have a Lexmark all in one printer, which was a good item, however the ink was too expensive. I purchased a Kodak ESP 9 all in one printer and I am very pleased with the buy. It does everything I need and best of all the ink is very affordable, no more having to choose which photo or document to print out, with ink this cheap I can print all that I want.

Works as long as you print often enough, otherwise it seems that the ink dries out. I have bought the XL thinking it would last longer, but it doesn't because I don't print often enough. I think I only get maybe 50 pages printed before I have to buy more ink - both the black & the color. So I have learned to just buy the regular & not waste any more money than I already do.

I chose a Kodak printer because the printer ink appeared to be cheaper than other brands. But you get what you pay for, minimal printer ink per cartridge, even with the so-called extra capacity cartridges. Seems I am constantly running out of ink and with a Kodak printer, one cannot print until the cartridge is totally empty, as the printer will shut off before this happens. No telling how much ink is left in the cartridge that still could be used.

This ink is not only affordable it also lasts for quite a while after the others run dry. I am in school online and download and print a new textbook every five weeks. I have no problem with my copies always being crisp and dark. I honestly wouldn't be able to do this with other print systems. I highly recommend Kodak Ink it is a superb product.

I have had a Kodak ESP 7 for a few years, the ink is fairly cheap compared to others and the print quality is excellent. My only complaint would be that it doesn't seem to last as long as it used to, and I have a new print head installed, OEM Kodak. Maybe it's just my imagination. All in all I am happy with the printer and it does want it is supposed to. And the ink combo blk/clr pack is cheap when you compare it to other all-in-one units of it's age

Hm.. how to review an ink cartridge? We've had multiple printers over the years from different companies and we seen some that ran through ink and others that seemed like ink sippers, some where ink was blah, etc. This one is pretty good on the ink usage (more thanks to the printer?) and when we print the ink color is bright and dries quickly. Additionally, the price is reasonable. We're happy with things.

I wanted to buy a remote printer but realized that the ink in these new printers are outrageously expensive and they dry out!!! unacceptable!!! so, I'm keeping my older Kodak printer as long as I can the ink is perfect and affordable for my purposes. I hope that those printer companies get a grip on peoples needs and make something more affordable as far as ink in their remote printers.

i love my Kodak printer. It prints the best pictures of any of the other printers that I have owned. I did not think that anything would beat my HP until I got the Kodak as a gift. The ink is getting harder to get after Kodak stopped selling it. Best buy has the best price that I have found by far. This ink makes beautiful photos. The colors are bright. I highly recommend getting this ink from Best Buy

I always buy the Kodak color cartridges for my Kodak printer. They are about a dollar or two cheaper at Best Buy than the big office products stores. The great thing is that BB runs 15% off sales fairly often and if you combine that with your reward coupons you get the most awesome deal. This was the second time I have done this and I got two cartridges for only a bit more than the normal price of one.

Ink Last A Very Long Time

    Posted
    shackie

I love this printer. The ink last longer than any other one I have had and the copies are great. When it copies something in color you find it hard to tell the difference in the original and the copy. Love buying my ink from Best Buy. Especially on Wednesday when I get a 20% discount. There is no shipping and it arrives right to your door. How much easier could that be?

I usually buy the black/multicolor pack since they go out around the same time. I also feel it to be more cost effective. I originally bought the Kodak printer because the ink was much cheaper than the rest but now I am not so sure. It also seems like it doesn't last as long as it use to. However, I will continue to buy it until the printer dies or I find something else better that I can afford.

Been a Kodak user long before I purchased my first Kodak printer. The ink cartridges are easy to install. The cost is less for the ink and photo paper, than others, and only two cartridges are needed, Black and Color. Been using the Kodak printer, since 2010 for photo's, scanning and printing. Great product. Who knows more about printing, and color than Kodak.

Because Kodak has quit making printers the ink is sometimes hard to find. The idea that sold me on Kodak printers was the high quality printing and the cheaper ink. I bought 3 for family. Now I can't even find the combo pack to save a few cents. The printers still work fine but ink is getting scarce. Disappointed in Kodak and the price and availability of the ink.

I have used the Kodak inks for my ESP9 printer for a few years. I love the printer and was saddened to hear that Kodak was not going to make any more. The ink color is excellent. Pictures are sharp and clear with good, accurate color. The combo pack is a good value as it is less expensive than buying the black and color inks separately. I get a lot of prints out of each cartridge.

    Color Ink was NOT GOOD

I replaced the color and black ink. When my printer reset it still showed my color ink was out. I followed the troubleshooting guide which lead me to call the service department for KODAK. The tech walked me thru a series of troubleshooting steps and finally said they would send me another color ink cartridge. When I recieved the new cartridge and installed it the printer worked fine.
