The buttons on the control panel are gray. I don’t know why anyone thought it was a good idea to design it this way but you can’t see the numbers. My previous microwave was a GE and lasted over 25 years. The quality of his new one is terrible compared to the old one. It also burns very hot, even under one minute of cooking time. It puts out excessive steam and will overcook your food if you’re not careful. Definitely should have looked into it more before making my purchase but I was in a hurry and I was satisfied with GE in the past, but not anymore.
