I bought this my mother after reading a review on it from someone saying it would wake the dead my mon is 85 and won't wear her hearing aids. I went to her house and took all of 2 minutes to hook it up. she can now hear the phone and the light probe works great when she is watching her tv and has the tv volume turned all the way up, also not only will it wake the dead but it makes the cat jump 10 feet in the air great product, and not much money

I purchased a new stationary landline phone for my elderly parents. One of them is close to deaf & won’t use a hearing aid. Unfortunately I never had success with them correctly using a cordless phone. The new phone didn’t ring loud enough for them to hear in or out out of the room. This external ringer/strobe has worked well. It is very loud and it can be heard in other parts of the home. The strobe light works well as a backup alert to the phone’s ringing. Just a note here that it isn’t dependent on the phone handset. This ringer box plugs into your phone line jack and your phone plugs into the ringer/strobe box. It needs a phone line plugged into it to ring but not a phone itself. This is a good product for the hard of hearing.

This works for hard-of-hearing people. My only concern is that it may be too loud for people with normal hearing!

I purchased this item for my 91 year old mother who does not like to wear her hearing aids. This amplifier will wake the dead and the strobe light is an added feature. She can never say she didn’t hear the phone ring again.

Easy to connect. Flashing light is very pronounced. Ring is quite loud

The ringer amplifies the ringer very well, wish it had a lower volume level. There are 2, needs 1 more. It has 2 tones, not really much difference between them.

With the volume control maxed out on the TV, hearing impaired family member doesn't hear the phone ringing. This product does the job of alerting him that he has a call.

I can now hear my telephone ring over background noise.

The ringer is very loud. Hard of hearing family member has benefited by having this ringer. Set up is easy

I bought this for an elderly neighbor who has trouble hearing the phone when it rings. The product arrived today, and I was a little surprised by two things; One, the packaging had been opened and resealed with a single piece of tape. Two, and more troubling, on the back of the package, where it shows how to install & use it, it reads "for analog systems only." I take that to mean the old copper wire pair telephone system that we grew up with, but is now pretty rare. My neighbor has a digital phone from Spectrum, with a modem, so this product may or may not work. I didn't want to take the chance. Nowhere on this site, on the item description is that mentioned at all. I do believe the excellent reviews that people have left here. I bet it does work great, used as intended, on the proper system. If I had seen that on the Best Buy description, I would not have made the purchase. The local store accepted the return cheerfully, without issue, once I explained. Thanks for that, Best Buy.

The Krown amplified phone ringer/strobe light works great, it would be 100% better if it had a switch that you could choose, either/ or, or both so you could use only the ringer, or the Strobe or Both. I didn't need the strobe, so I disabled it on this one and it works perfectly. Thank You

Good product, priced better than other stores. Product not available at store near me so I had to go to a store 20 miles away.
