Haven't picked up an anime series for a while so when I seen this for pretty cheap so I said what the hay. As my summary/title states I'm giving this series a meh. I did not care for the characters whatsoever. They look similar to other characters in other anime shows out there, like Negima for instance, but their mannerisms are nowhere close. The premise of the show (summary on the back of the box) seemed interesting but I feel the execution just failed big time. To me, I think that the characters are just straight up annoying! It could have been the dub. I felt that some of the voices didn't fit the characters. I guess I felt nothing for this show because I thought the characters sucked. I don't recommend.

I would recommend this season to a friend becasue it has a good plot. Its a little to short of a series for me but for someone just getting into anime or someone who wants a good plot but not a long series its a good choice. I give it a 4 out of 5
