A great East meets West series which is still poignant and effective over 40 years after it's creation. David Carradine is still effective as the wandering Caine, and the morals behind the stories, still relevant.

The show revolves around a shaolin monk half american, half chinese named Kwai Chang Kane after killing a prince in China (while defending his master) He is forced to flee China due to a price on his head. Kane comes to America seeking his american roots, but is relentlessly pursued by bounty hunters. The show uses flash backs frome Kanes training at the Shaolin temple to illustrate life lessons.
