For the week that I had the lock installed (which was incredibly easy since I was replacing a Kwikset lock) it was so cool to just touch the lock to open and unlock the door from the outside but what I was looking for was more home automation. This Kwikset lock is not available with Z-Wave technology so that I could monitor/manipulate the lock remotely. Not what I wanted so I returned it and purchased a Kwikset 910 Keyless Entry system with Z-Wave. Now I can open the door from the car or when I open the garage door automatically while also turning on the heat/cool and the lights. This product would have been so much better with Z-Wave as well as touch/Bluetooth..

So have I have been wanting a home automated locking system for quite some time. If the price point is just too far out of the average persons reach. When Best Buy had this particular model on clearance I decided to jump at the chance. I was amazed at the ease of install it took about 30 minutes maximum. That included programming my phone and my wife's phone. The downsides of this product is that sometimes you have to have the app open for the lock to work other times you don't have to have the app open, and I can't figure out which time is which and why. Other times The app can be open and it still doesn't work. There are definitely some bugs that need to be worked out. I would say that the battery life is excellent. And I really like the system when it works. And I would say it works about 60 to 65% of the time. The one downside from my perspective is that it only comes with two software keys that allow two users to use their cell phone to open the device, it does not allow more than two unless you pay for them and after having paid for the device I think I ought to have more than two software keys available to me. The other downside to this product is that you must have blue tooth turned on all the time otherwise you have no control of the lock at all. Have the product work more than 65% of the time and I would recommend it.

Easy to install, with Little skill envolved. Product does as it suggests but just be forewarned... The system takes some timers learn your habits... So at first it takes a little patience for system to preform its function

Easy to install and works well with SUPPORTED devices. Only real issue is that the lock is extremely sensitive to touch and can automatically close if your hand brushes against it while going outside the home.

I like the ability to open and lock my doors with the swipe of the hand or the app if close by.

Wanted a "smart" lock for my front door, but did not want one with a keypad, so this fit the bill. Easy to install and was able to re-key to my existing kwikset key in less than a minute.

Everything works well and operation is easy. The only downside is that guests have to download the app and set up an account. It would be cool if you could just type in their phone number and they could open it that way. If you get the Kevo, I tightly recommend upgrading to the kevo plus.

I love this lock, geeky cool and it works perfect no problems at all. Easy install.

This Kwikset lock was a good purchase, it allows me to get in door without having to use key. I have had it for 3 weeks and have only had one instance were the phone had trouble communicating with the lock. Very easy to set up and the lock feels and looks solidly built.

I got this for my 89 year old mother so she could come and go with out fumbling with a key. It just works. She has been using it for a month or more now with out any issues. Very Pleased!!!!!

I have had issues since the day I purchased. I was able to install but never able to get the fobs to connect. I called Kevo support and was belittled about how long I waited to get help and that the warranty was only good for a year. I bought this as an open-box and feel strongly that it never was in operable condition. I've installed my entire smart home with no issues. Extremely disappointed with the lack of support from Kevo.

I've had the lock over a month now and it's working great.

Great device. Makes it so easy to set up a temporary key for friends and family.

Everything works as described. Very convenient. I also swapped out the old handle for a closet handle so we wouldn't get locked out from that knob. Also re-keyed this lock to work with my old keys, nice feature.

Need to lock things up? This will do the job. You need to make sure that the door is perfectly closed or the opening has enough forgiveness. Otherwise, this will do its intended function.

This works for our family. Especially with school aged children. No lost key issues. This paired with a security system or free apps like Life 360, it's an excellent product!

Works fine with my Galaxy 7 active and my daughters iPhone. Key fob works when it feels like.

I wanted this day 1, but it was a bit too costly. Once cost came down it was time to jump in. Love this thing. No more keys in my life!
