We ordered two of the L.O.L. Surprise Fluffy Pets Winter Disco Series with Removable Fur and although we've bought other L.O.L. pets this was a series we missed out on so we knew there would be two new toys unless we got duplicates. The first one was a cat figure named Purrs and the second was Doggy Stardust, a "Rare" figure. Each came with several "surprise accessories" and both were packaged in a clear plastic ball that had a separate detachable stand so it could be used as a display. Normally I don't read all of the instructions (I know there is a lecture somewhere) but when I saw what looked like a plastic plug in between the two walls of the ball I looked online to see if adding water would be easy, messy or a hassle and it seemed simple enough- see pictures below for final results with the dog character. The cat Purrs shows what it looks like without water, there is a mixture of fine glitter and some chunky pieces; I believe colour varies with rarity of character since the Rare figure has gold and the other has pink glitter. Adding water is actually easy and not messy but it is best to do it slowly so the water flows in and doesn't create a static meniscus over the opening. I filled the ball with the gold glittwr back in June when this was prdered and honestly forgot about it until we moved last week and she wanted to keep this toy separate from the others being boxed. It is now the end of August and the same amount of H2O is still in the ball and there hasn't been any leakage despite not carefully storing/handling them. Overall these were cute and fun plus the sale price was great. If there is anything to change it would be the pull-off "fluffy fur" as there is not a way to remove it in one piece. The manufacturer attached the outer layer in patches with a light adhesive and it is ruined once removed. It wouldve been cute to have the original fur as an option for the kids to change their clothes / costumes.

This is a gift which hasn't been given yet. Birthday present. Great granddaughter loves the surprise package . Can't wait to give it to her.

These pets are cute but I was disappointed that the fluffy layer is affixed with an adhesive and to reveal the animal underneath you must remove it. However once you do its not something that you can put on and off like clothing, as it comes off in pieces, it seems to me it is to be disposed of.
