I'm a guy who loves a good zombie film. This film succeeds in honoring that love. Before purchasing the movie, I read several reviews in the U.S. and abroad. I agree with several of those reviews that this film comes up short in various aspects, including a dead zombie seen 'breathing.' The acting is good enough, the location great, and several character conflicts and zombie fight sequences are the freshest/original I've seen in awhile. The DVD also has a nice prequel to La Horde, filmed as a short. Want two others reasons to acquire this film? How about a heavy machine gun being used really well and 1 vs. 200.

Once you get past the fact that it's subtitled, this movie isn't so bad. Possibly one of the better types from the european zombie movies, especially since it's French. Acting is so-so, action is good along with the gore. Happily not one of those comedy zombie type movies.
