A wonderful tribute to the liveliness of Hollywood and the musical scene. Great steelbook art, only I don’t like the yellow tint much.

La La Land is one of the best films of 2016. Its seamless combination of music and storytelling is reminiscent of classic musicals from the 50s and 60s. The performances are top-notch and the two leads have an unmistakable chemistry together (helped by their previous on-screen romance in Crazy, Stupid, Love.) Their characters are flawed, but that's what entices the viewer to join them on this emotional journey. The score and musical numbers are absolutely memorable, even after one viewing. City of Stars and Another Day of Sun are my personal favorites, but there are many others that are, not only fantastic songs in their own right, but combined with some potentially iconic scenes in the movie, paint a picture that's difficult to forget. The cinematography is beautiful, the choreography is stunning, and the camerawork is breathtaking. And that's what La La Land is; breathtaking. No, it's not perfect, as the film does peak towards the middle and the second half re-uses music and ideas from the first half, and personally I found there to be a couple of questionable casting choices, but those are minor nitpicks in what is otherwise a miracle production. I am very thankful that, in a world where superhero films and action blockbusters rake in the most dough, there are still producers out there willing to fund risky projects that can either fall and be forgotten, or rise and become instant classics. La La Land is fire. See it.

I bought this movie for my daughter for her birthday. We watched it together and it was not bad, in fact I would say it was great!

This is a very eye catching steelbook. The off white cover is minimalistic, but perfect imo. The movie and image is top notch.

Purchased this movie because it had Dolby Atmos Audio to go with my Atmos Soundbar. Atmos makes a lot if difference. Sounds Great!

This film is magical. The 4k really pops and the songs are great. Purchased as a gift whom the receiver loved the movie.

I love musicals and the music in this movie is pretty good. The story is kind of blah though and doesnt really keep my attention

Watched in theatres three times with my 17 year old son. He started playing piano again because of this movie! Great fun!

La La Land is such a beautiful film. This is what filmmaking is. This embodies filmmaking in its power to influence its audience and play with their emotions. I also relate to Emma Stone's character so much in this movie. The cinematography is perfect. Everything is perfect. A true masterpiece. This is truly a love story from the director, Damien Chazelle, to Old Hollywood musicals. He once said that he fell in love with movies such as "Singing in the Rain, and the classics that starred Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire while he was a student of art film history at Harvard. Story: 4/5 The steelbook itself is truly a piece of work, I mean it is gorgeous! The purples and pinks mesh together in a way that I've not seen before. The only problem that I have is that my slip for the steelbook does not line up due to the slip being warped. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else but this is why I am not giving the steelbook a 5-star rating. Steelbook 4/5

Very enjoyable movie. It deserves all the buzz surrounding it. This movie earned the oscars they received.

This is one of the most original movies I have ever seen. It is such a change from so many of the cookie-cutter movies that are so common. Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling give the performances of their careers. Its hard to believe that Emma was not the first choice for the role. The soundtrack is one of the best ever. The songs range from toe tapping, make you want to dance songs to rip your heart out and stomp on it, because they make you feel so much emotion. A welcome addition are the John Legend numbers. Many people did not like the ending. It is different. But, for me it could not have ended differently. It worked perfectly for this film. I could not recommend this film any higher. Everything about it was a delight. Every time I watch it, yes that is multiple times, I find myself humming the music and smiling for hours. Do yourself a favor and buy this film. It is a pure joy.

La La Land was my favorite movie of 2016. This Steelbook is very sleek and is essential for any collector.

I am not a Musical person when it comes to movies. But this is definitely the exception. Great film.

It's a movie you should see with your wife or girlfriend you will spend some good time but if you are a marvel guy don't waist your time and money on it
