Loved the movie just hated the packaging. Bought it twice and in each one the disc had slipped and there were dents and scraps on the steelbook.

This is a new twist on the modern musical, a fun movie and perfect for fans of Stone!

I went to see this film with no real expectations, I had heard the buzz surrounding this film but I did not really look into it prior to seeing it, but wow, what a great film. The music is very well done and catchy (I immediately purchased the soundtrack) and the main characters are well acted by Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, who by the way have amazing chemistry. It is a movie reminiscent of classic Hollywood musicals, an overt homage or love letter to them in fact, and the movie as a whole is extremely enjoyable. The only real drawback I can think of is that in the last third or so of the film, there's a point where you realize it's been a while since they played a song, and it seemingly slows down a bit, but then it immediately picks back up for an amazing ending. Definitely one of my favorite movies of 2016. The Steelbook itself is very nice, it has the same art that was on the Vinyl soundtrack, and it looks great.

Good movie but hard to follow somewhat gets interesting then kinda slows to almost being boring then picks up again

This steelbook Blu-Ray is a must for any La La Land fan, as it uses the jazz album cover artwork for a sleek design. It has all the special features of the regular blu-ray release. Rarely does a film become my favorite and my choice for the Best Film of the Year but La La Land just achieved that, striking a deep, personal chord (The last time that happened was "Inside Llewyn Davis" which coincidentally was a musical of sorts too). It brings up memories of the beautiful LA I remember interning at Warner Bros driving around with a golf cart. And being a musical theatre song-and-dance man/actor/jazz lover/filmmaker/Prius driver/dreamer this film just resonated with me moreso than I was prepared for. I love that it highlights the loves we grow and lose as creatives trying to 'make it;' the cynical romances artists have and how dreams get altered by love. I fell in love again, and rarely does a film achieve that.

La La Land is a well written script which one chooses their soul...

Great movie for the whole family! This movie caused two trips to Cali!

Color, sound, story. First rate. The ending was one of the most beautiful and emotional pieces of cinema ever presented. I'm almost a Los Angeles native so I viewed this movie from that experience, but aside from a few minor continuity and factual mistakes (e.g., movie opens with a weather report that the forecast is for "another day of sun" with a high of 84 and going to a low of 75 - not likely in this arid environment - more like a low of 60, or less, if the high is only 84 - important because the weather here is the star and it is not like the east coast); otherwise, the details were accurate and made Los Angeles the "third star" of the story. You will have no regrets for any money you spend to see this one!

This is such a great movie - it's one of the few you want to own!
