This was a lot of fun to build but the software doesnt have much to do. I enjoyed the piano and fishing rod the most. Kids would probably be easily entertained by it but might have trouble putting things together.

I was skeptical about this product considering your essentially buying card board. The truth of the matter is that it’s a ton of fun and the kids love it! The kids were obsessed with building and decorating the items and then playing all the sillly games.

Fun variety pack; kits take upwards of several hours to build and then more time to explore and have fun with them; admittedly difficult to store once built.

I am really happy with this purchase, it's even more fun than I hyped it up to be. It's like origami and video games combined, and I've always loved both. It's simple but so captivating, and it's all the more rewarding to play with something you put together yourself. Plus, they make great party games for everyone weather you are used to playing games or not. My grandfather never liked games for as long as I can remember because he always thought they were too complicated, but he happily took to these games and spent an hour fishing on TV while his 4 yr old great grandson was giving him tips. This is a definite must buy for any switch owner!

Simple and easy to follow instructions guide you through construction, but you may be left wanting a bit deeper engagement from the final products. Still fun to build and see how Nintendo used the controllers.

Got this for my aunt for her birthday as she enjoys building things and tinkering with tech. As games, the Labo games here are a bit lacking, but building the accessories and testing out how they interact with games is very, very cool.

My 7 year old sister loved it. All the kits inside were very creative and fun to do. She was so into it and it was very worth it considering it was on sale. I’m not sure if I’d buy it at full price.

I made the Piano and Fishing rod. Each took about 3 hours to make. Pros: fun to build, a lot of potential with the Piano. Cons: the games are short about 1 hour.

I was hesitant to buy this at first due to the fact that its cardboard but I decided to give the variety pack a chance because it looked like it would allow the kids to try a little bit of everything out instead of focusing on a particular theme like the other kits. The fishing was the most interesting out of all the kits in this variety pack and I can definitely see myself purchasing the other sets seeing how enjoyable putting together the kits were. Would definitely recommend if you can get these kits on the right deal.

Really well made. Highly recommended that an adult help as it's a lot of steps. Great instructions via the device. No paper instructions.

Like the box says, this offers a variety of activities that is fun for all ages. The way the game walks you through building each cardboard creation is clear and concise with the end result always being quite the surprise of how functional some cardboard and rubber bands can really be. The only problem is that each of the activities tend to be engaging for only so long, some of them more than others. The real fun truly does come from building the Toy-Cons themselves, but they do offer a fair bit to encourage and demonstrate how to build your own. This game is great for families while also showing off just how powerful the technology behind the Switch is.

This activity kit is a fun thing to do with your kids and family. You will follow the animated instructions on the screen, that you fast forward or rewind, and carefully construct several objects that interact with the switch and the joy cons. Getting everyone involved can help with the building process and makes the play time more satisfying. Don't expect the games to be super deep, but they are all fun in small bursts. A lot of them have creative sides too that let you make your own levels or music etc.

The Nintendo Labo Variety Kit is a great toy for all ages. I purchased this for my 13 year old and he absolutely loves it. There are some many things to build, and with the integration of the Nintendo Switch, it makes it super fun for them to play after they've constructed each one. The fishing pole and motorcycle handles were two of his favorite. The instructions on how to build each one are easy to follow for most ages.

I bought this on clearance for my daughter. We both had a great time putting the different projects together and playing the games. My daughter especially got a kick out of the house and digital pet that was part of the game. The only challenge was storage after putting all the projects together. Might need to invest in a plastic bin since some of the creations fall apart easily after being played with by small children.
