Labyrinth of Refrain is a pretty fun game with an entertaining story. The idea behind the game is you play as a book controlling puppets brought to life. The puppets battle and creatures you encounter in the labyrinth. It's easy to get stuck not knowing what to do sometimes, which is the problem I'm having right now. I've had fun up to this point however. So I can't really deduct any stars for my frustration.

Labyrinth of Refrain is a fun and interesting experience. It’s story is something you can easily get invested in due to the mystery of the situation and the character relationships during the cutscenes (for lack of a bette term). Add to that the hints and clues you get for the story while diving deeper and deeper into the labyrinth, you are definitely left wanting to make sure you’ve explored every nook and cranny! The ability to change the games difficulty level nearly whenever you want/need is a welcome mechanic, as you’re not locked into one mode and forced to give up any progress if you decide you want more or less of a challenge later on. The end-game area adds to that too, and encourages more focused and intent usage of the game’s Soul Clarity stat. Overall a very good game, although some of the turns it takes leave a bad taste in my mouth due to their content. But then, it is an M rated game, so one has to go into it prepared for what that tends to mean.

I'm a huge fan of dungeon role playing games and this one doesn't disappoint. That being said, it's definitely not for the faint of heart as it can be unforgiving at times and punish you for the smallest mistakes. If you're a fan of this type of game, you can't find one better on the Switch

First person anime style dungeon crawling with some interesting mechanics. Voice acting at times is irritating, especially the little gal that hangs with the witch. Some slightly naughty scenes so not completely kid friendly. Quite fun exploring the maps.

If you like a good dungeon crawler, then this game should entertain you nicely. I like Etrian odyssey, a lot, and this game - although different - is a fantastic little gem on the Switch. You’ll spend plenty of time in each area, the main story keeps you hooked and the gameplay is rock solid. Usually I grow tired of combat quickly, but the combat here is engaging. I wouldn’t say the music was the most memorable, but it seems to fit the situations very well. Oh, but it has some mature content that I could honestly do without. So, maybe I should dock this game half a point.

Coven of Dusk is a first-person dungeon crawler rpg with a heavy emphasis on exploration. The act of filling in the labyrinth maps is intuitive and a reward on its own merits. The battle systems are a little complex the deeper you go underground, but is presented in an approachable way, introducing new mechanics naturally as you play or after you unlock new abilities. The story is nonessential, but for those who enjoy anime will find something with a little bit of meat to pass the time between exploration.

Cute little game. Good graphics and decent story. Give it a try on sale.

There's no denying that this is a niche first person dungeon crawling JRPG but it's much easier for people who aren't familiar with the genre to play then others. The silly dialogue and fun story also really helps to make this one of the more enjoyable niche JRPG experiences out there.

This game is definitely a NIS game. It has some very interesting creatures through the different dungeons. The story is very unique, but if you're know how NIS makes games, they're all very unique in their own ways.

Great game with good story, fresh mechanics, and many hours of play time. I've got over 200 hours of time when playing in hard mode. To be fair, I rarely skip battles. Ridiculously good playtime to cost ratio.

The story elements have similar humor to games like disgaea and With and the hundred knights. The gameplay is similar to Eye of the Beholder and Classic Wizardry games. A FIRST PERSON dungeon crawler.

This is another great dungeon explorer/crawler RPG game. Defiantly subject matter is mature but story line is entertaining worth a buy if can get on sale.

It’s a good game if you’re into dungeon crawlers such as Etrian Odyssey. Operencia is another good one on Switch.

Got it for $25 and it is amazing for that price. Love it.
