I purchased this USB C external hard drive to expand the storage on my new MacBook Pro w/touch bar. It works like a charm. Transfer speeds are super fast, andI love the fact it includes a USB C to USB C cable as well as a USB A to USB C cable. It definitely helps with transferring files from my old computer to the new one.

After I bought a new MacBook to replace my old MacBook Pro, I wanted to be sure to buy a reliable and easy to use hard drive to transfer all of my files from my old computer. After reading numerous reviews, I decided to go with LaCie 1TB. Once plugged into my MBP, it walked you through the setup and made it as easier than I could imagine. I set up a 500 GB partition for backup and the rest for regular storage. TimeMachine worked perfectly with this hard drive. I like how it had connections for both USB-C (for my new MacBook) and USB 3 for my old laptop. And despite other reviews, I have as yet had any issues with the connector cables; they have worked flawlessly. The design is also sleek. For the price, amount of space, and easy of use, I definitely recommend.

This is my first Lacie product, I did a lot of reviews before buying, over all everybody was saying good things bout this product so I desided to give it a try, all I got to say is an awesome storeage, very slim, fast and reliable, it goes with me every were I go weather im taking photos or video I can pull it out clean the memory on my cameras an keep having fun doing what i like the most.

Compatible with 2016 MacBook Pro Comes with usb as well as thunderbolt wire making it very easy to use between devices I would recommend buying a case to protect the device.

LaCie is a great maker of External Hard Drive. The Porsche Design version looks great and offers a nice amount of storage, in a perfect travel sized aluminum casing. It's works perfectly and transfers data super fast!

This is easy to use and I would definitely recommend it. I had the geek squad set it up on my computer and it took less than 5 minutes.

I bought this drive to back up my old Mac computer it is sleek an matches my new computer and is very easy to use just plug and start downloading. It took 90 minutes to download 900.000 files incredible. I've never in 9 years ever backed up my files and this was a snap. Highly recommend.

What can be said, an awesome looking External Hard Drive. Looks 100 times better than the Seagate sitting right next to it. The 2 terabyte model is a better value but for some reason BB doesn't stock it in store.

I got this drive primarily for backing up my MacBook Pro. It's easy to set up and I partitioned half for Time Machine and the other half for file storage. It's a compact attractive looking unit and is working great tor my intended purpose.

External hard drives have become smaller and smaller...this one is tiny. I remember buying a "20 MB hard card" for my 1984 DOS computer and I thought I had died and gone to heaven with all that space. This little guy is 1/4 the size and holds a billion more pieces of information for about a 1/4 of the 1984 cost. Times have changed!
