    I have a new mac book pro,& use a lacie 250 gigabyte ssd & many other 1TB small hard drives with it. but I designated this drive to one of my keyboards, so , although lacie tried to make it easy for mac users,It took a few formatings to get my korg oasys keyboard to see the full 120 gigabytes. But I still love it & hope that the price on all the ssd's will continue to come down!!!!

    You can see the difference solid state makes compared to older hard drives.

    Was a nice SSD, but after a few months it died. It lights up showing it has power, but no longer mounts on my iMac. I read on Amazon that others have the same type of problems with this drive. Couldn't find a way to contact LaCie for help. Will no longer buy a product from them.
