    This is my second one, the transfer of files, pictures and music takes seconds. It sturdy and you know when it’s on. I will stick with LaCie for life. I have tried WD and lost all my pictures, music and books, never again.

    This drive pairs magnificently with the iMac. I use it just to store video and pictures. I had issues with my old pc and western digital drive. The western digital drive was super slow to upload or access pictures from the drive. This drive however functions as well as the internal drive in the mac. It pulls up 2.5 terabytes of pictures extremely fast. Almost as fast as you can scroll. This is a must buy. I will purchase more.

    awesome storage unit has 4 terabyte and fast storage communicates with apple as well its really great i love it I have all my files saved and backed up. it has a cloud too so u can store your most important stuff there

    Very pretty to look at for a hard drive but it failed after a year. I had to buy my own recovery software to recover my files. First hard drive that failed on me in probably 15 years, and I'm not a heavy user. Lacie's support does not include data recovery, so they charge you large fees if you want them to do that for you. I used this software called "Disk Drill Pro" which got my data back, at least. But that cost me $100.
