Lalah can sing her face off. The live CD is worth having!

Being the daughter of Donny Hathaway is a tough job, but when you can sing like Lalah it is so easy! The tracks she decided to sing here are so good that you will play this CD over and over! This is a must add to your musical collection. Anita Baker "Angel" was done excellently by Lalah! Go out and get this CD, you won't regret it!

Cd is great and I'm going to buy all her music but I notice that you don't have a jazz selection anymore like you used to I am a person that is hands on about picking my music so I wish you would have more jazz music in the stores because I frequently go to Best Buy and the first place I go to is the music selection

I would love to see this artist live! This CD is the next best thing until I see her in person. Anita Baker and her father (Donny Hathaway) should be proud of how she represented their music. A must add to your collection!

Nice and mellow songs, great remakes of old songs. I would recommend that you buy this album.

Live is always better to me than most studio and this one holds true. Her remake of Anita Baker's Angel is awesome and also includes wonderful versions of her own classic songs.

It's refreshing to listen to good vocals and music arrangements. Lala has a clear and concise voice. Her live performance was well done.

I am a Donny Hathaway fan and brought this album after hearing Lalah's cover of Ghetto and Angel. I think she has a good voice but song choice and material holds it back. The cover songs on the album are far better than the new tracks to me. I would like to see her get with some of the great mid to late 80's, early 90's producers and put out a classic straight R&B album. Like her father I know she likes jazz and R&B but she doesn't mix the two as well as he did.

This cd is my favorite to roll with... I keep it In heavy rotation.
