Per usual, Scream Factory puts out an amazing release. Image quality is not the best but an improvement from DVD, LOADED with special features, which is your draw to this release.

Huge fan of the film so it was a must have especially since it’s now a scream factory release!

Basically dead part 4, it was ok when I first saw the movie, it got better over time, has some great effects! Not as good as the original three but has some kick to it. Lots of features.

George Romero recently passed away and left behind a legacy as the pioneer of the modern zombie film. Land of the Dead was his last worthwhile zombie flick and an innovator within the genre and this scream factory release contains a new restoration and a laundry list of new special features that caters to fans. If you love zombie flicks, this is the definitive release of a quintessential film from the master of the genre, though Land of the Dead falls well short of the magnificence of both Night and Dawn of the Dead.

I know sequel after sequel can be very tiring, but Land of the Dead is definitely worth owning. This definitely deserves to be up there with Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead & Day of the Dead. Scream Factory certainly thought so too by releasing this film in HD. I highly recommend adding this to your collection. Includes theatrical and unrated versions of the movie, plus, lots of bonus footage. It's Scream Factory, so you know they didn't skimp.

When this movie hit theatres, it was a horror fan's dribbly dream come true - Romero was back! And while it offers up the same old Romero zombie fun, the material did come off a bit stale. This could be contributed to the fact Romero wrote the film back when the original trilogy was in full swing, but was basically burnt out by the time Land came around. Though, if you're an old school fan, there's still a lot to be offered.

The zombies are evolving. After decades of independently budgeted zombie flicks Romero goes Hollywood and it is hit and miss. I like the look of the film and most of the actors though story-wise I thought it lacking. As for this blu-ray release the picture quality is better than the previous release and with all the new bonus features, this is a must buy for all us Romero zombie fan.

Hadn’t seen this movie in a while. Had the dvd copy when it came out. Upgraded to this bluray version. The picture and sound are pretty good! The movie it self is also good. It’s a good continuation of the George A. Romero universe of the zombies and the world.

I’ve always been a big supporter of this Romero film. It’s a great little not so subtle allegory, and a very solid and gory entry into his Dead series. Don’t listen to th hate, and give this one a try. Scream Factory did this one proud!

On blu ray it even looks better, some of his fans didn't enjoy this one but it is filled with social satire and good old fashioned gore. It is much better than 'day of the dead" in which it's very small budget kept most of the action inside of a bunker, but not as great as the truly classic by any horror fans standards: 'dawn of the dead" or the first and great 'night of the living dead" , still this movie has a fine pacing and good performances from the top notch cast. It's worth getting on blu ray as part of any superior horror dvd collection.

If someone told me that Romero would wait 20 years before delivering a new classic, I'd have told them they're crazy. Brilliant and captivating.

Romero pleases with this action packed sequel, however, there are not quite enough scares in my opinion! Good gore FX and great script though!

One of George Romero’s masterpieces. Under rated for its time but definitely a guilty pleasure to add to the Living Dead anthology. Extras were amazing and overall a great collection to have.

4th best but still pretty darn good, considering the other 3 are classics. Did not have the slip cover, which was disappointing.

Land of the Dead is a decent zombie movie that gets a bit of a bad rap. However, I found it really entertaining.

My husband has this on dvd and now has this special edition Blu-ray. The quality is great and he is very happy with all the extras included in this special edition!

Shout Factory/Scream Factory does it again! Another great release. If you like this film, buy this version because of the bonus features. Worth it!

Another Fun Addition to the Dead Franchise, Romero has some interesting ideas in the one!!!
