First I recognize this isn't the greatest movie. But I love Will Ferrell & this one has its laugh out loud moments. In the spirit of other mediocre to not-so-good movies with a genius comedian doing his thing (looking at you Beverly Hills Ninja) this one showcases Ferrell, a solid cast, & a silly script. This is no Anchorman or The Other Guys but its recommended for Ferrell fanatics.

My husband bought this using his best buy account and reviewed it, then we had our accounts merged, and all his old purchases are showing up on MY review page, so I'm re-reviewing so-to-speak to get the points.

I bought this as a gift, so I can't really give it a personal review, but the person I bought it for loves it!

This is based on the old television series, however it isn't really anything like it. I like it because I like the actors and I am all about atypical comedy.

This was a great purchase. My daughter watched it this weekend and enjoyed it.

Eh, I can't really be too disappointed since most remakes are not always as good as the original one if you seen it. Had I not seen the show in my childhood I would have enjoyed it a bit more but I entertained the thought of watching it and it was ok.

I really enjoy watching the land of the lost because it's very funny and hilarious. Truly a comedy movie to watch a lot!

If you like catchy show tunes, slee staks, and T-rex's, this is the movie for you! Will Ferrel is absolutely hilarious in this film!

Kids thought it was a funny movie, adults not so much

I don't care what anyone says about this movie. It is hilarious!!! Everything is way, way over the top. The acting, the plot, the characters, the cinematography, everything! For me it works great. People get too caught up expecting a flawless, beautifully detailed movie. This is not it! If you enjoy shutting your brain down for an hour and a half and come in expecting very little, you will laugh out loud.

Too bad this dirty little comedy got mis-marketed to the family audience. This is a fairly bawdy PG-13. It has Danny McBride in it for God's sake! The surround sound is demo worthy stuff that you don't usually get in a comedy.

the movie is funny. wiil ferrel is great and the supporting cast is good. kinda bored me a littlle but funny overall.

this movie wasn't to bad. i heard it wasn't good but after i watched it. i really enjoyed it.
