I bought this after owning a too-heavy collapsible table for years. This is much more practical as it is lightweight and has a handle and was much cheaper than some of the other options. Having the pockets underneath is great for keeping my small travel mouse, USB cable, and flash drive in so that everything is in one place.

Lightweight, laptop does no slide, nice arm rest ... easy to store and to travel with.

Purchased 3 for youths ages 12 to 18. This is great for anyone that likes to use their laptop while sitting in bed. It shields the legs from heat generated by the laptop. The solid lapdesk surface promotes adequate ventilation to the laptop by not blocking the air circulation vents in the laptop casing. Everyone likes the raised wrist support which reduces fatigue while using the laptop's scroll pad or keyboard. It also helps keep the laptop in position by preventing it from sliding down too low on the lapdesk.

I bought this both to use for my laptop on and for using my wireless keyboard and mouse when my desktop is connected to my tv. Works great and the extra pocket on the bottom is handy. Also very comfortable.

Great for people that use their laptops on their couches or on their bed. Super comfortable and laptop does not heat up too badly. A great purchase!

It is very comfortable; it has enough space for both the laptop and the mouse. I use it lying down on the bed to watch a movie, it aisles the heat of the laptop very well.

I originally bought one of these for a family member as a Christmas gift. It doesn't look like much in the store. 30 bucks for a plastic desk? It wasn't until I got it home and tried it out that I realized how nice it actually is. It has two rows of "beanbags" along the bottom of the desk. It allows you to sit in different ways and still keep the desk "flat" on your lap. That way you don't need to keep your legs parallel all the time. It also does a nice job of keeping the computer just off my lap, so it stays cool nicely without a "battery robbing" fan. It might be a little big of you have a smaller computer, but it fits my 17.3 inch computer nicely. It has some little pockets (one on each side) that hang down to hold something small like a mouse but I haven't used them yet so I have no opinion about them. The pockets use a piece of velcro to keep them folded up out of the way if you aren't using them. The rest of the story is that I liked it so much that I went back to the store and got one for myself.

I've had this lap top lap desk for a year now and I use it 12-14 hours a day at least. So I've definitely got my money's worth. In fact I"m getting ready to order a new one and one for my mom for Christmas. Mine has some wear and tear but with all the use I wouldn't expect it to still look new. The fabric has started to tear at the top. But then again like I said it gets used just about every waking minute. I also move it from room to room as I move about. I highly recommend this product. The mouse stays on the desk even when you move the desk around from your lap to another surface for whatever reason. You computer stays put on the desk as well. Even when carrying the computer and desk to another location.

Sits very comfortably on your lap. Plenty of room for the laptop and the mouse. Best one I came across while shopping for one.

Bought this for my wife as she works from the house a lot. She loves this thing because the size allows her to use her mouse and have enough room for writing note on a small pad she keeps.

Being handicapped, I do much more than just Digital/Cyber activities with it—indeed, this is my 2nd identical "Laptop" tray—using it even for Meals (minus liquids, of course). I also LOVE the Underpad dual Pockets! *Not 5-star, due to Two concerns*: 1- To avoid Laptop from slipping/falling onto floor, I use the Wrist pad facing outwards—Mnfctr MUST ADD A LAPTOP-Friendly "LIP" for this problem; 2- "Anti-slip" surface not "anti-slip" enough, thence, item #1; (a pc. of Anti-slip "Drawer Liner" is my personal solution to this—potentially disastrous problem. Only caveat is: if using a Laptop that runs Hot), and my 15" Pro PC does, I run a fan on the hot side, as a precaution. -- NOTES: • *NOT for 24/7-wheelchair-bound User!* • BEST USES: Couch; or with knees bent, at a Recliner. (My Preferences, anyway).

It's a pretty decent lap desk, one of the more decent I've used. It can be tricky to get a comfortable angle, but once I do it's very nice. My only real lament is the lack of ventilation. A fan would have been nice, but even some slots to allow greater airflow would have been an excellent addition, but even without that I would buy it again.

Light weight, nice size, wrist rest could be softer.

Bought this for my friend who surfs from the couch. She would lean over to the coffee table to use her laptop. She didnt like how it made her lap hot from the laptop. Ive not seen her once use her laptop without the laptop lap desk. I think we need a second since we seem to fight over who gets to use it!

I have really enjoyed this laptop lap table. It fits a 15.6" screen computer on it, and my mouse pad for my external mouse (I hate touch pads on laptops). It's a full size mouse pad at that, not one of the smaller ones. I have pleanty of room on it to also set my 4 sided hub on it as well. It's nice to sit on the couch with this and do homework while still being in the same room as my husband watching TV. Only negative thing I can think about it is that it won't fit in a carrying case, othwise this piece is swell.

I've tried a few lapdesks and have found they are too small, too flat, or unsteady on my knees. On others, my laptop tends to slide on them; afraid it'll fall off. This is, by far, the best lapdesk I have used. It's comfortable for to type, use my mouse, and the side fabric holds my laptop secure. I just love it!

I've been searching around for a good lap desk like this one, for months now, that is big enough for my 17" laptop and able to use a mouse on the side. I bought this Lap Desk today - and I am taking it back. The wrist rest is really high up and its a very hard plastic covered by a thin layer of fabric so there is no give. It makes using my wireless mouse very uncomfortable - my wrist is at an awkward angle and after a while, it hurts. If you don't use a mouse with your laptop, then this might be a great product for you if you have a rather large laptop. I am able to fit my cooling pad under my laptop - but another problem is that the hard plastic that this is made with is very slick. Its a good idea NOT to move if you have your cooling pad under your laptop as your laptop might slide off if your not careful.

I bought this as a present for a friend who enjoys having their 17" inch laptop in their lap while laying in bed or sitting on the couch, They were always complaining of the heat that would build up in their lap after extended use. I purchased this for a Christmas present and they have loved using it since receiving it. It gives plenty of room for a 17"inch with mouse space, although it would probably be better suited for a 15"inch with more room for the mouse, yet a 17" inch will work. If you are looking for something to sit in lap comfortable, this is a great device for that.

Its much easier to use than having the laptop on your lap! I liked the concept of this device but unfortunately Im not 100% happy with it. I have a 17" laptop and it does fit the lapdesk on the width just fine but from front to back its very tight. I have about 2 inches from the device to the front edge of the laptop. The laptop also seems to tip backwards if you move a certain way. I dont use an external mouse with the laptop and lapdesk so its usually centered and the arm rest doesnt really do any good. The bean bag in the rear is too short I think when you are laying in bed and have your legs laid straight out in front of you while in a sitting position. The whole lapdesk is actually in an angle sloping forward. So maybe if the beanbag where larger or taller then the laptop would be in a nice incline like it should be.

My 17" Sony Vaio fits perfectly on this lap desk, I also use a wireless mouse on it and have plenty of room and my computer never even keeps my laptop from overheating... it doesn't get warm at all! The only down side is the back of the lap desk doesn't have an edge to hold your computer in place... so as long as you are careful and don't bend forward without holding onto the back of your computer (and mouse if you use one) then this is a wonderful product!
