Tomb raider Lara Croft . Need this for my collection as I am a fan of the tomb raider series by Angelina Jolie , they did a really great job in making this tomb raider movie and I can’t miss having a copy as I was disappointed 3 times for Best Buy giving me tomb raider the cradle of life and had to return 3 times until finally got Lara Croft Tomb Raider steelebook bluray copy .

I bought a few Blu-ray discs on Black Friday at a very good price. And this disc is a tin box version, but unfortunately, unpacking the plastic and found that the tin box is damaged. Lucky is a disc or no problem. The discount in your store shouldn't sell bad stuff, I'm disappointed!

This movie is great, has amazing FUNNY lines, fast action, really sets a nice pace. The sound is great, can't say enough good things about the sound, it has what you expect for the money you spend on a disk of this magnitude, the money they spent was well placed. You get high quality content. The CGI is so realistic you forget its CGI and just fall into the story and lose yourself in the emotion and staging of the drama and action.

Fun action movie, awesome that it is now in 4k. Definitely recommend!

Old school Lara Croft, classic movie. Had to get 4k version.

I remember watching this movie in my teen years and obsessed with Tomb Raider and Angelina Jolie. Talk about nostalgia! Keep in mind, I remember vaguely what the plot was about. All I remember was she was a fighting a pretty sweet looking robot in a training simulator and a pretty neat shower scene that was left to the imagination. Fast forward to NOW! With the same optimism I had many years ago, we go back with Blu Ray quality. The movie was as 2000 as I can remember. The dialogue is awful, the plot is good, and the action is there. Familiar actor faces and the fleshed out performance of Lara Croft still holds up. Basically, the character development/introduction was perfect back then but the movie itself was an eye roller. I'd recommend it because when you really think about how far movies and video game movies progressed, we've made huge advancements. Also take into consideration that directors back then had to work with what they were given and its fair to say that Tomb Raider is a good movie that tries to stay true to the character and her nature of tomb raiding.

Great upgrade from standard 480 resolution. A good decision to own this.

Always enjoyed the Angelina Jolie tomb raider movies, now even better in 4K.

I only wish Angelina Jolie would have done more than two movies. For me she was the only choice to be the one that could make Lara Croft into a real life character and she did an incredible and believable job of it. If you are a fan the Tombraider video game series then this movie and the first one, Lara Croft: Tombraider, are a must to watch. The Steel Book Series with it's design makes them even more worth owning.

I think that "Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life" was one of the greatest action films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite action films of all-time. I have seen and enjoyed this film several times and I also think that "Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, mystery and suspense including exciting and suspenseful/personal storylines.

I remember going with my brother to watch this in the theaters because I played all of the PlayStation games in the past. It's a very good action flick and Angelina Jolie plays the part well. If you like video game to movie films this one is a great one.

Tomb Raider the Cradle of Life starring Angelina Jolie, and co-starring Gerard Butler. This film takes Lara Croft all over the world. The storyline is not as good as the original Tomb Raider but it's okay. And this film she's after Pandora's Box. The legendary box that holds the antimatter which helped create matter which created the world and the universe. The steelbook Edition is worth having in anyone's collection.

I got to admit. I am not a huge fan of these older Tomb Raider movies, but hot darn is that Best Buy packaging and steelbook design sexy. That's what drew me in here coupled with my love of Lara Croft in general and I guess you can say I'm a born sucker who had to have this. The price was right too. Video and audio are decent, but nothing to write home about. It's just a minor, nice to have, 4K upgrade.

I love the color and vibrancy of this one! They’re both shiny and have a nice weight to them. I also love the movie quote on the back of the steelbook- “I’m not leaving you because I couldn’t kill you, I’m leaving because I could.” Both Tomb Raider steelbooks feel necessary for a classic collection.

This film is a little old (2001) but WOW, this looks amazing in 4K. The sound quality is superb. If you have a 4K TV, or plan to get one in the future, this is one of those films that will really push the QUALITY of your sound system and TV to the edge. The studio did a great job of remastering the video and audio. Highly recommended.

I initially wasn't sure how I'd find these TR steelbooks but having them in hand they look great. The solid color backgrounds are bold and the color really pops. The films themselves are alright and your mileage will vary depending on how much you like the games.
