This fan which I call a Texas tornado, after a reviewer, is very powerful, maybe too much. The lowest setting is strong and loud. I never turned it beyond low. I did cool my living room down (10x20 feet). But you couldn't hear anything else. And now, after a year, it doesn't oscillate, and maybe smells like burning, so we won't be using it any more. Next year, I'll just get one of those cheap 16" stand fans that i consider disposable.

After much research, we went with two of these fans to circulate the air from a window a/c unit into our bedroom and kitchen. The fan is very powerful and it moves air around as needed. We are very satisfied with the purchase and shipping from Best Buy was very fast for us even in Honolulu. The small negatives of the fan are (1) the air moving out of the tower unit actually makes some noise (not too bad though) (2) it has a stupid led nightlight around the power button that lights up a dark room (we have to cover it with a sock at night) (3) the oscillation is only about 30 degrees total (ideally, i was hoping for at least 45 degrees maybe even more). It doesn't have an ionizer which is a plus, because ionizers can actually pollute your home with ozone. I know, ironic right, sorta like diet soda causing weight gain. Anyways, we recommend it over the current alternatives if you want a tower fan that actually pushes air around your house/apartment.

It really is a great fan like the other reviews say it is, bu the only part I disagree with is about it being a loud fan, when i had first bought it and turned it on i was originally in agreement, but that’s because I didn’t know i had it on 3, set it on 1, and it was pretty quiet, but above all else, I really do love it, might have to look into buying another one.

This fan is wonderful and strong. Worth every penny. Remote control for added convenience. The only thing I would change (if I had to nitpick) is that I would make the base a little taller because I had to put the fan on top of a 4 inch stand so it can reach my bed. Otherwise, I love this fan!

I have used this product before which needed to be replaced after several years. I use this outside on the patio and it holds up very well to the environment

I use this fan in my family room and you can feel it from any point in the room.. Its a bit loud but it works great when you don't have air..

this fan has helped me survive the hot days of summer. the little standard fans just don't do the job

This fan is so powerful. We got tired of fans that breaks down in a yr or 2 , hopefully this stays longer than what we have. Power is superb, perfect for summer hot days.

I bought the taller newer version with the remote control first. My mistake! This one is much better! The airflow seems more powerful and the air vents are located centrally on the unit.

The fan moves a lot of air for its size. It oscillates and the vents direct the air where needed. It is well constructed.

This is the best fan I've ever owed!!! I use to be a Walmart junkie!! I bought everything from there no matter what.But this summer one of our fans broke and I needed a replacement..so I decided to try best buy..I read the reviews and chose the blower fan and boy what a difference a quality fan make .. you can feel the air from across the room !! Yes I give it 5 Stars and No I don't buy everything from Walmart anymore!!
