Love that Sarah brought back her familiar sound! Listening was easy and the mellow music makes a great background music for anytime. I love that I can listen to adult music and have my kids listen along. :) CD was provided to me for review by One2One Network.

I was glad to see Sarah McLachlan back in the recording studio. The new album, “Laws of Illusion” is Sarah at her best. The sound is classic and soothing. Sarah’s soulful style hasn’t changed, just the lyrics. So if, you’re a current Sarah McLachlan fan, you’ll love this album. If you haven’t discovered Sarah McLachlan yet...nows your chance. The “Laws of Illuison” album was long overdue and well worth waiting for. It’s very easy to get lost in the music of Sarah McLachlan.

As someone who had listened to Sarah even before City of Angels, I am happy with Sarah's new CD, Laws of Illusion. She stays true to everything she had done over her career and has a great mix of old and new styles with the constant of her lovely voice.

I've been listening to Sarah McLachlan for a long time, and have always loved her vocals. She has one of the most amazing singing voices among both male and female recording artists. This CD is everything I hoped for. The beautiful vocals and wonderful musical accompaniment make up for any potential flaws. Some of the songs a fairly simple, but I appreciate the simple as well as the more complex. This is my new favorite CD.

As always, Sarah's voice is the highlight of this CD. Her magical voice is soothing and a real treat to lsiten to. After many years without a new release, I was eager for the release of her new album. I was not disappointed.
This CD shows her growth as an artist, and is a much more mature CD. Fans and newcomers to her music will love it!

Sarah McLachlan's new CD brings back memories from my past listening to her engaging music! Her style is still very much the same and her songs are as great as her older classics! Her songs are easy to listen to and not repetitive! They also have a very upbeat and entertaining feel them. I have really enjoyed this CD so far!!

I really enjoyed this new album. I think the sound is beautiful and if you love anything by Sara McLachlan you will love this album. I thought the sound was very true to her style. It has taken seven years to work out this release and I feel like the wait was worth it! Beautiful!

Listening to this CD reminded me of hanging out with friends when I was in high school in the 90's. I was looking forward to hearing something new, but this new CD while lovely and soothing, brought me back to the days of flannels, ripped jeans, and baby doll dresses. The one stunning exception was Bring on the Wonder which really showed off Sarah's silvery voice over the barest breath of a piano.

Sarah Mclachlan's voice is soft and very smoothing. The instrumentals are sharp and clear. Some of the songs are very similar and at one point I didn't know when the next song began. I like this CD as background music.

Nothing catchy, Nothing substantial

I listened to the cd several times, trying to give it time to grow on me. It didn't. Not one track was something that I would see fit for radio play. Each track was an endless droning on very similar to the one before it. There was nothing notable or stand out about any of the songs. It sounds like a Sarah has used up all of her good material on her previous albums or like a totally different person is penning all of the songs (lyrics and music). It might make for a good background cd, when you just want some noise, but don't want the distractiong of paying attention to it.
