The story is just okay. The combination of characters from various fiction classics is somewhat entertaining. Blu-ray video quality is very good. Sean Connery fans and steampunk enthusiasts will be pleased.

Steampunk action with Sean Connery and Peta Wilson; need I say more? Oh, and look for the portrait of the Scarecrow of Romney Marsh in M’s office!

Great crazy film as fun now as it was when l saw it in the theater Sean Connery is great as always amidst a pretty much unknown cast of literary characters brought together to fight a new world Order attempting to take over the world in the old world century. Mixed reviews on its initial release but has a goofy charm and an fresh modern take on characters from classic literature.

Afyer the passing of Sean I just had to get this movie. A fan of super heroes even these guys was a must for me especially at the great price best buy had it for. If you've seen this movie or even if you haven't it does its job as most movies do which is entertain you. Entertainment is something we all could use more of especially of what is going on today.

Sometimes people take action/adventure too seriously, and leave their sense of wonder and imagination... and fun... at the door. This is just a good time, with amazing visuals and action sequences. Nothing more, nothing less. Based off of the comic book series, I love the twist/angle that some of the fictional characters we knew of in literature are actually real. I love it!

lets seeeee..... you got the hulk a guy that turns invisible a vampire an immortal a pirate sean connery and i forgot the rest man this movie is magnificent!! it is sad that this flick did terrible in theaters back in the days. it still holds up pretty good even with spotty cgi. definitely worth checking out

Do I really need to say more than its Sean Connery as an action hero, the movie is a classic based on a comic about Allen Quartermain, captain Nemo, dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde, the invisible man, a vampire, Dorian Grey and Tom Saywer team up against Dr. Moriarty who made a doomsday device.

Great movie still after all of these years. Great cast of characters, action and adventure, great storyline. You should get a copy if you don't have one already. I hope they somehow make a sequel. If they can't do it right leave this film alone. It's great the way it is.

Sean Connery makes this film worth seeing on his own, but the "public domain" characters loosely based on the Alan Moore Graphic Novels make it an enjoyable view. However, it does pale when compared to current flicks of this type.

I like how the story evolves, the characters are nicely played, the especial effects were really good considering this movie is about 18 years old. I had it in VHS so when I saw it in blu-ray I had to have it.
