Got this for my 2 year old for Xmas. Right away out of the box she was already tracing letters and numbers. App is easy to install. I've never had a complaint about LeapFrog products and you won't with this one.

My daughter loves to use it, very easy to hold in her little hands. She love the games in the app.

This is the second Mr. Pencil that I buy. The first one was for my grandson and now for my granddaughter. It has been a blessing for them to have this tool while learning how to write their first words.

I would definitely recommend to anyone with a preschooler. App is free from the App store and the Pencil makes it fun and is easy to use.

It is useful and easy to use. My nephew likes it as a beginner of writing.

My son uses it with the iPad app and enjoys learning to write his ABCs.

My 4.5 yr old son loves it. He just played with it for about 2 straight hours and wanted to keep going! Very easy to get started and simple enough for the kids to play by themselves.

This works very well for my two year old using my iPad . Price was good so it was wonderful!

I bought this product for my nephew as he is always taking our iphones I figured if he is going to keep playing wih our phones then he should learn something at the same time.

Useful tool for small hands learning how to write numbers and the alphabet. The app that comes with it could be a little better in regards to being user-friendly.

It started off working fine but had issues within the first 10 occasions that we used it. My 4 year old son was excited to use it first but had to struggle later on to make it work. Not a good purchase.

My daughter loves this LeapFrog pencil and the app you get for free.

Helpful for working on letter recognition but parents need to supervise, Pencil is fatter than a normal pencil which is helpful for beginning writers.

I didn't like having to download an app for it. I was kinda hoping to keep the little one off my phone. I know she doesn't meet the age suggestion for it, but she catches onto things pretty quickly. Even so, she couldn't follow directions and just wanted to draw with it. Hopefully I can find other leapfrog things she can use this with.

You have to buy the mr pencil stylus to unlock the game but it is frustrating to try to write with.
