Beaver is a show that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It always has a lesson contained within, and every episode is entertaining. There is no profanity, nudity or other negative, as is so common in media today. Highly recommend this Series 1 DVD to start your journey, or your family's journey, into the world of Leave it to Beaver.

Hearken back to the days when life was simple and childhood was innocent. No cell phones, no Facebook--no computers. Share the often-silly crises of the Cleaver family as they go about their daily lives back in the "good old days"--or so it may seem. As with Ozzie and Harriet, Father Knows Best, Donna Reed, etc. Mom and Dad were actually wiser than their kids and usually able to solve family problems. Would we actually return to those days if we could? Maybe, maybe not--

Love this classic show! I wish there were more shows like this still on. Unfortunately the only place you can watch a show about an American family with Christian values is on DVD.

Fun to see the old episodes you grew up with and watch them again to see the family values back in our young days if you are 50 plus.

Brings back great memories as a kid. Anyone that was child in the late 50's n early 60's will love it

I started watching season 1 on Netflix but it was since removed. A great throwback to old tv made better with BestBuy's price match guarantee.

I wish we had more shows like this still on t.v.. Got this set for my father in law and he watches it with my kids.

My mom loved this show. We've never seen the DVD anywhere else. So, I had to get it for her. She loves it!

I normally would never recommend buying TV shows on DVD. They may seem like a good deal, because of the vast amount of content, but they're usually over priced and after you've watched them once that just sit on your shelf or your sell them at a SMALL faction of the price you paid. Then again sometimes you just want to relive the shows you grew up with and in this case, and it being on sale, I grabbed this one. This is one of my favorite shows and it's nice just to be able to watch it again.
