We are disappointed in Lectric regarding a well-known motor issue they have publicly acknowledged, which causes constant loud feedback and vibration between 13–16 mph. We purchased TWO NEW XP4 e-bikes on August 5, 2025, reported the defect, told to record videos of each bike showing the issue, complete online warranty forms, provide proof of purchase, and now WAIT until September for replacement motors, then schedule repairs with a local shop. Why are we, as new customers, made to feel like your employees just to get our new e-bikes working? Lectric has suggested we continue using the bikes until the motors are replaced, but that is not realistic. The feedback is loud, the vibration carries through the seat, and the ride is uncomfortable. In our opinion, these bikes should not have been released in this condition. A quicker resolution, such as replacing the defective e-bikes, would have been the better choice. A full video review, step-by-step experience, will be released once we have working bikes.

Terrible customer service. I wanted to buy the xp4 Lectric bike but didn't have my color. The sales rep told me it's ok, buy this one, he said wasn't on sale but company Lectric was sending another shipment and my raindrop blue color. He told me that he would price match as long as there was xp4 in stock, that only one left, otherwise he couldn't price match. He also told me to buy theis bike, i could return it within 15 days of purchase, box or no box, said i could ride and still return/exchange for blue one when it came in. He sent a link to purchase, my credit card was declined twice and third time i talked to credit card company. I told rep that the link said non refundable, he said after i purchsed theough the link he assured me he would send me an email confirming. Get to store to pick up and the display bike was alread y on sale, no price match. I told the cashier that i would be bring this back when the new shipment comes in with the raindrop blue color that i was told i could exchange. They told me it was nonrefundable, i told him what the sales rep told me, and they said the phone is in a foreign country in a call center and unfortunately this happens a lot. I told them i didn't open box so i wanted refund because i was lied to. They said sorry that i already purchased and it's mine now and nonrefundable. I called corporate headquarters, it's in South Africa, called another number and it was also in South Africa, because i asked. One of those calls even chuckled whe i told him about what happened. Not funny, very dishonest buiness and unethical practice. i also sent several emails and nothing at all. I wouldn't think in 2025 and such a large company in the United States would be so dishonest and unethical. I'm completely disgusted with Best Buy. I'm not stuck with a bike i wasn't wanting and also got my same credit card hacked within minutes of this transaction buying the bike. i did contact the company Lectric telling them what had happened and they told me they have had a lot of complaints about best buy and were thinking about dropping best buy as they should. I asked of they could help me and said unfortunately they couldn't since i didn't buy directly from them.

I love how you have the option to run class 1,2 or 3. This one was for my wife as I bought myself the green high step and we love them both. I keep adding accessories like a Swiss Army knife lol. Heading to Cades Cove in Tennessee to really enjoy these things. They are also a bit bigger than you would expect from pictures and they do fit in some 40 gallon totes when folded for easier transportation.

We are having a ball with our e bkies! They are so easy to ride. You can get as much exercise as you want and still get to be out in the beautiful day when the hills start to test your strength.

We understand the frustration when you aren't hitting the speeds you expect, but we would love to help you get your bike dialed in!
To clarify, per federal regulations, the throttle-only maximum speed is limited to 20 mph. However, with pedal assist, our bikes are capable of reaching up to 28 mph.
It sounds like your bike may currently be set to Class 2 settings. You can easily "unlock" the higher speed settings to achieve that 28 mph maximum by following the instructions in your user manual.
