If this item is still up, Best Buy is knowingly selling a knock-off brand. This is marketed and sold (and priced) as a Lectron charger, but what was received is a charger made by a brand called Dousida. If you purchase this item, beware that you will likely not get the item/brand you paid for, and Best Buy support is not particularly helpful in correcting the situation. You can check the name on the charging handle of your item to see if it says Lectron or Dousida.

Adding length to any EV charging cable is so useful. We use ours daily as we went from 1 EV to 2, and there are times when both cars need to be charged. This avoids issues with overloading circuits and not having to park outside our garage. Not to mention the added versatility on road trips to not have to worry about inconsiderate people taking up the charging spaces.

So far so good after 10 months! I have this running from the exterior charger on the side of my house to the front driveway. Pretty challenging conditions: gravel driveway, with sharp crushed stones, and then left coiled on the ground! On top of that, I have the Tesla J1772 adapter in the end, charging a Tesla Model S. It's been almost a year now, winter and summer, and so far it hasn't failed or show signs of adverse wear. Cheaper than paying an electrician to re-install the charger to the more convenient location.
