The case gets one star for looking good but fails to do is main purpose, to protect. I know that the GS7 Edge is more susceptible to cracks but I would have figured Samsung would have put out a case that have that specific protection. My phone took a bump on the left corner with the end of my laptop with the case closed and found it cracked all over the screen. If I could do it over again, I would have used that cash towards a real case, skip this garbage.

This case is amazing but it has a few issues; first it usually will not lay flat even after owning it for a month, then the screen went out after about 2 months. Best buy did a factory replacement exchange in the store that was nice so I did not have to mail it back to Samsung. The display going out appears to be a common propblem. The new case still does not lay flat at first, eventually it will lay flat when closed but it never seams to do this when you first close it. The function of the case is great, shows you the time or if you have a message it will let you know how many you have. It will also indicate you have a call and you can answer or reject the call by swiping your finger on the case over the display. Due to the fact that the screen stopped working after only about 2 months of use I can not rate this at 5 stars. I hope the replacement case lasts longer than the first one.

It is very comfortable in the pockets, it looks very sleek and love the call alert and message alert on the cover.I also like to be able to answer without opening the cover but I don't like that you are not able to see the name of the person calling and also you are not able to see alerts for Facebook or Twitter without opening the cover. Overall is a good cover if you dont mind opening the cover all the time to check for alerts and also fighting with the cover when you are taking a picture or a video. Oh and also good to impressing friends =)

This is the second Samsung flip case I have bought. The first one quit displaying notifications. I like that I can see incoming calls and text message notifications without having to open the cover and being able to customize caller identities is neat. You can also answer or deny calls without opening the cover. You can also hold a credit card and drivers license in the inside pocket.

The case is quite elegant, very sturdy, doesn't scratch the screen, the color matches the trim on my blue coral s7 edge. The LED only comes on when using samsung applications. Will come on while playing music on the samsung music app, buy only stays on a few seconds.

This is a nice "giz-whiz" item but hardly worth the high price I paid for it. I bought it because it was the only one in Stock for my phone and I needed it. Holding a Samsung S7 Edge without a case is like trying to hold a wet live fish. The time display is way too short. Also the cover now is not staying closed. On a plus side I can charge it using the NFC wireless charger but I do have to move it around on the charger pad to find the sweet spot. Not a big negative and much better than connecting a charging cord. And it is thin and smooth so easy to slip into my jeans pocket. Also while it is not padded I have dropped my phone a couple of times without damage.

It looks good in my pocket and does a good job of protecting my phone. I love the ability to answer calls turn up the volume, and see some basic information without opening the case.

I bought the Samsung LED Case to go with my Samsung S8 new cellphone. At first I was really happy with it. It looked great, felt good, felt like a premium case as you would expect from a samsung product, it was great that you could get the notifications when the led case cover was closed. It had symbols for callers, although I thought it would have been better if the person's picture could have been the notification as it is when the cover is open. but hey maybe with the next generation release, they might add that feature. You can listen to music you have on your loaded phone directly with the cover closed, however the really disappointing feature was that if you wanted to listen to music on youtube, this was not possible. because with the cover open the music would play, but the minute the cover was closed, it shut off the phone, therefore shut off the youtube music. It would have been great if you could change the settings to not shut off the phone when the cover was closed, or to shut off after a set period of time, if that's what you wished.Unfortunately that option was not available. Overall a great case. but if you wish to listen to youtube music with the cover closed, you would need to buy a third party case, unlike this case they will work with youtube even if they are closed once you change the settings. I ended up with having to purchase a third party phone wallet case for my lovely Samsung S8 phone. Overall it's disappointing that I could not get a Samsung LED Case to match my new Samsung S8 or at least one that I could set up the way I like to use my phone. The notifications are a bit gimmacky, as they are nice don't go far enough.

I wanted a wallet case for my phone that offered protection from drops and allowed the phone to be answered without opening it. This case nearly does both. If your phone drops face down with the cover open (think buttered toast), it will be vulnerable and will likely pop out of the case. The LED display is really neat and I've demonstrated it to many interested people. It provides very basic information and you'll likely just end up opening the cover to see who's calling (but you can just swipe to answer). I find the best use is just seeing the time.

Great case protects phone well. You can customize to see who's calling you with a digital emoji picture. Looks and feels sleek, only con is the price.

the phone case not only works very well but it also protects the phone from damage. one of the nice features of the case is that the time shines through the case. You can also add symbols for different number so that you know who is calling without opening the phone. Great addition to the phone. The case makes the phone for me. Without a quality phone case I would not have bought the phone

It covers all the way around, nice to have screen protection. The LED sometimes has problems turning on. other than that, I like the LED.

I really like this smart cover, protects my phone well. The only gripe I have is if you want to use the back camera it's a two handed job because you have to leave the cover open (like an open book). If you fold it behind, it covers the camera. This makes quick action shots awkward. My old one had a window (worked but pix were blurry with autofocus). Other than that one thing, I like it.

This is the best case on the market for the Samsung Edge series phones in my opinion. Don't believe me...Just try and put a screen protector on your phone...go ahead, I'll wait.... Now look at that screen protector it is probably bubbling up on the sides and edges just enough to annoy you. Now try and cover that up with a case and things get even worse. This case solves that problem by not needing a screen protector because it has one built in....Not to mention that the case also pulls power from your device to give you relevant information outside the case without having to access your phone. Sure it's not perfect, I would like to see more notification options and perhaps a kickstand, however for this phone in this time and space this case is the best option...It even works with wireless chargers. I also have a Spigen case with a kickstand (meh) and a Poetic naked case...Good case no screen protection. Do not hesitate and splurge on this one right here...You won't be sorry.

I returned this case a day after I got it. Sure it was neat at first, but for its actual use, its extremely over priced. The LEDs that show up barely touch the battery levels as far as draining also. And remember this only works with Samsung apps as well, so if you use a different messenger client, you are out of luck

I bought one, and loved it, but it stopped working after a month. I'm on my second one, love it, and hoping it lasts for as long as I have the phone. This case will make you look cool and amaze your friends! No one can figure out how it actually works. It's handy too, showing you graphically when you have a call or text coming in.

If I paid full price for this case, it would not be worth it. As is, it's OK. After having it a few months the front cover will not stay completely shut when lying face up. It's sort of annoying. It does an OK job of protecting the phone but it leaves marks on the front of the phone. They can be wiped off but again annoying.

Protects screen. Just wished it'd actually display who's callING besides an image you choose from a house ,flower,coffee cup.. ect. Also it states when you get it no credit cards should be in the wallet.. cause metal strip and I'm guessing the magnet in the case to display the view. . . But it's great for now.

I really like this phone cover, and like magic the time, message and phone sign shows up on the front when the front is smooth. The price is a little high but the case is different. I get a lot of compliments on it.

Love my 7 edge case, only thing I wish it was more durable cause it started lifting on sides
