This case allows me to see incoming calls, answer them, put them on speaker as well as seeing incoming texts without waking up the screen. My battery life has doubled since I've used this case.

I had purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 phone and bought the protection shield for the face of the phone. I also bought a case that fit the phone as well as the Samsung Fast Charge stand. Pleased with everything - then with my hands full, I stepped out of my car and my phone hit the parking lot. My shield shattered but the face of my phone was safe. I immediately went to Best Buy in search of a more protective covering for my phone. The sales agent found this one for me and I am so happy with it. I can see the time and indication if a message or notification comes in even with the cover closed. And when I place it on the Fast Charge stand there are no problems get it placed just right for a full charge. Couldn't be more satisfied with this one.

The case only advertises on the packaging that you can see the time and maybe some sort of indication when certain messages or emails come in. What it doesn't really show is you are given a grid that is maybe one inch by 3 inch across the top of the phone where you can literally write whatever you'd like. So i can write "Susan", then attavh it to Susan's contact information, so every time she calls, it will display her name on the front. In addition to customizing for your contacts, you can customize for each application as well. So you can see whether it is Facebook or Snapchat or Instagram according to the customized picture you assigned to this. You can edit all of these by, once the case is on the device, you go to Settings > Advanced Features > Accessories > LED indicator. Awesome, awesome customization. And the case works like a stand, too. Always a plus! Both of my parents bought this for their Note 8!

This has worked great. Dropped my phone to many times and still no cracks. To busy to watch out.

I did not expect this cover to be perfect fit. it shows time and battery charging, notifications

This phone has lots of potential. Large amounts of space.Long battery life. The stylist is a great help if your a artist or just a hobby artist. Works great and is charged by the phone. the speaker is loud and the head phones are of high quality.The cameras are sharp and crisp can even get a clear picture of the night sky stars and all.Picks up WiFi strong. Screen resolution has 4 types. Great for games and heavy app usage.

Had one on my S7 Edge, works good now to see how long the LED portion lasts. So far so good!

Case gives pretty good protection, but it has some really cool features like displaying icons for calls, texts, phone numbers, and even gives you controls on the LED front for music controls. Only downside is it can be awkward when trying to take pictures

I choose this case since you can see the number on the case of who is calling you and it has worked great. I have dropped my phone like a hundred times and it doesn't have a scratch, it protects it very well and has a very good appearance.

I have always used wallet style phone covers. This Samsung cover is pretty nice.

I like this case very much, especially because the time is displayed on the cover when closed. A nice convenience. I also prefer this type of "wallet" case because it covers the phone and allows for storage of business cards. But the hinge seems to be stretching just a few months into use, and there is a bit of play in the cover. It's not a game changer, but it seems more fragile that the cover I had for my Note 4, which lasted for a long time. Not sure that this will. But, to be fair, the old one was integrated into the phone, requiring the back of the case to replace the actual back of the phone, which isn't the case in the new one, nor is the back removable like the older phone. Progress...

This is my favorite and best case for my Note8. You can take your in coming call without opening it, all display time and notifications. No need screen protect with this case as I think and the way I use it. I love it.

This case is exactly what I was looking for. You can answer the phone with the cover shut. Love that the time can be seen through the cover and it provides protection of the phone.

This is the best cover that I have ever used for the Galaxy Note. I have had 4 of the notes and this one with the LED display works the best, protects the screen lets you know who is calling without opening the cover

The case is okay. It’s cool how the front of the case displays the time and messages on it. But it’s a bummer that when you open it and flip the cover around to the backside so u can hold it in the palm of you’re hand to talk on the phone, when u move it back it has trouble closing all the way. But if you don’t mind that and the fact that the case gets its power from the cell phone and doesn’t have its own internal battery for itself. It’s a cool case. But my wife did end up returning it after using it for two days due to the fact that the case wouldn’t stay closed properly.
