Was on the fence about picking this product up as I really enjoyed gaming on my Steam Deck Limited Edition OLED. However, Lenovo has knocked one out of the park with the release of the Lenovo Legion Go S Steam Edition!! Yes, I know the screen is not an OLED, but it is so clear and really pops with vibrancy, contrast and resolution! The 8” screen size is definitely the sweet spot as I’m aging and so are my eyes. The 7” screen is just way too small for someone like me. I know it’s an expensive upgrade, but is worth every penny! Without a doubt, I highly recommend this product!!!

I didnt know I needed this in my life. Being able to play my steam on the go has been super nice. Games play really smooth too. Wish i could play all types of games but I’m fine with Steam OS.

Awesome system overall. Steam OS makes a huge difference in QOL and performance over windows. Form factor is my favorite of any handheld system so far and feels like a high quality device. Upgraded to this from my old steam deck LCD and it was completely worth it. Will say battery is the weak point. I wish this shipped with at least a 70+ Watt-hour battery instead of the 55 it has. Maybe there will be an aftermarket upgrade. Overall having a blast with it and it's gotten me to start clearing the years long back log. 4.5/5

This handheld was long awaited for me. Steam os on a device like this is magic. Runs fantastic and actually has a devent battery life if used moderately.

Loving this handheld. The Steam OS version requires a bit more patience to tweak than the Windows OS version of the Legion GO S. But the system is still great and at the unbelieveable sales price of $250 less than the WinOS version I could not resist swapping the two out after returning the WinOS version. The current sales price at the time of this writing makes this the best handheld purchase of 2025 in my opinion. the Z1Extreme chip performs great in all the games I've played. I do recommend this unit!

Was really torn between this and the steam deck. Five stars though. It had everything I wanted from the steam deck only way better screen display and graphics but with more options.

If you're looking to get into handheld gaming like I was I think this is the best option for performance, comfortability, and ease of use while still being able to tinker with it and enjoy messing with settings and performance. I would only get when it is on a sale though at I think 800-900 is too expensive with the screen not being OLED. The 8 inch LCD is still a really nice screen though. I got mine for black Friday for 650 and so happy.

Godlike except Linux, I don’t know Linux that’s the only bad part since it’s super customizable since it’s just a computer but in a game pad configuration I bring it everywhere and it doesn’t fail. I do wish it had its own mobile data but that would inflate the price horrifically 10:10

Fantastic handheld gaming device! The 8” screen is bright and sharp, performance is smooth, and the controls feel great. Perfect for gaming at home or on the go.

My daughter loves her legion Go s!!! The graphics are amazing, and the screen is a perfect size!!! She loves the size of it and loves the fact that she can play games with her dad when he is on deployment with the navy!!

Love the big screen even if isn’t OLED it gives out beautiful gameplay and resolution. Was pretty pricey but I do love steamOS it easy to use also with the desktop mode pretty easy to use.I believe it was worth ever penny!

I was highly skeptical about this machine since the Steam Deck has already done an amazing job of hosting SteamOs. However, the Legion Go S blew all of my expectations out of the water. Z1E Chip + 8" screen + comfortable ergonomics is a nice refresh and processing boost/screen from the sd. This device is a home run only IF you know what you are getting into. Drawbacks come down to a lack of Windows OS, for which there is a Windows version of this device and you'll have to pick the red pill or blue pill.

Device is excellent. Difficult to set up but once set awesome. Battery life is ehhh.

Great for a in between handheld product. Runs most everything and has great ergonomics. Screen is not OLED which may be an issue if that’s your preference. Price is a little high but better than other handhelds

Very happy with my purchase. In a lot of ways, better than I expected. After having a Steam deck OLED since launch, I wanted a little bit bigger screen. Great product

It works extremely well. I was told it woukdnt handle certain games like Monster Hunter Wilds but i downloaded it and it worked just fine. Graphics movement and everything no issies. The reason why im givong it a 4 star though is because they didnt have any covers for the screen or the system itself.

Amazing device. I am playing a lot more games. There are some hames that aren’t supported but i just got into gaming and older games are enough for now.

This handheld is awesome! SteamOS is rock solid and supported well (You can Dual Boot Windows if your interested). SteamOS does have some constraints (Anti-Cheat, etc.) but its just so fluid and a joy to play on. Only difficult part is upgrading the drive ... Not too bad but other handhelds are easier.
