Best “computer” you can get right now! SteamOS runs perfectly and has a lot of compatible games (with mod support included). I truely love this device because not only can i play games but i can code and run virutal machines!

I am completely blown away by the Legion Go S. Lenovo took an already fantastic portable concept and truly perfected it here. The inclusion of 32GB of RAM is an absolute game-changer for a handheld device; multitasking is effortless, and modern AAA titles run incredibly smoothly with virtually zero stuttering since the system never runs out of memory. Combined with the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor and a spacious 1TB SSD, it handles everything I throw at it with ease. The switch to SteamOS makes the entire console experience feel remarkably seamless, console-like, and stable right out of the box. The 8-inch 120Hz display is stunning—it's large, bright, and vibrant, making gameplay feel incredibly immersive while remaining smooth. Despite the generous screen size, the ergonomics are excellent and comfortable for longer gaming sessions. If you want a top-tier, high-performance gaming handheld that gets the software and hardware exactly right, this is the one to beat.

This was my first experience using a PC handheld, having come from using the switch as my main console for the last 5+ years, and it exceeded my expectations. Out of the box it takes a little bit to set up and get used to all of the settings (I will admit that there is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to tuning the devices for specific games), but once I figured everything out the system felt smooth and easy to use. There are a good amount of customizable options including the RGB lights on the joysticks which is a nice plus. It is a powerhouse of a device compared to the switch and it’s nice having the option to play my PC games on the go now. Pros: - device feels nice in the hands for a long period of time, it’s not too heavy - nice screen despite it not being OLED. I don’t feel like it needs a better screen - games run smooth - Steam OS is easy to navigate - optional performance profiles for games so you don’t have to reconfigure every time you play Cons: - The learning curve in the beginning. It’s not that bad but I had to watch some videos to troubleshoot early problems I was having - fan volume could be bothersome to some people. I personally don’t mind them being loud at times - the battery life is under 4-5hrs, sometimes even closer to 2hrs depending on what game you’re playing. This doesn’t affect me too much since I don’t play for long periods of time in one sitting but could be a downside to those who prefer longer sessions Overall, I would highly recommend the Legion Go to those who want to dive into the world of handheld gaming. The pros of the device well outweigh the cons and for the price, you’re getting exactly what you pay for.

This device has me wanting to go back to PC gaming which I will be doing, the Rog Ally S is comfortable to hold for hours without a case. The 120hz screen is nice to look at, it has VRR and plays everything I throw at it. The only con to me is the loud fans, but that only happens when you play in performance mode, I played on balance. Battery life is about 2-3 hours which I think is normal for these powerful handhelds. I would wait for the Z2 Extreme devices or Xbox Rog Ally, Steam Deck OLED would be the sweet spot if you’re not looking to play the latest and greatest AAA games. For me this device is a 9/10, but I’m returning to get a home gaming pc instead. Console gaming is a mess right now with prices.

Very good machine. Althought a little heavy, it runs very well. The battery life is a bit short, and the fan is a little loud, but it runs everything you need at an acceptable FPS. Very happy with my purchase. Better than the steam deck, my biggest gripe is the very small touchpad, but you can supplement that with a touchpad bought online and plugged into the device as it has two c connections. Eropad for those wondering.
