Much better than I thought it would be and I got it at a good price. If you like gaming on the go this device can not be beat. Also, very easy to install emulators to make it the ultimate tool of nostalgia.

This handheld is worth it if you are wanting a handheld that’s comfy in the hands, doesn’t get too loud from fan noise, and decent battery life. Able to get between 2.5-5 hrs depending on games and if i took the time to tweak it or just OoB settings. SteamOS is the way to go. Pictures include Dbrand Killswitch case and a JSAUX matte screen protector. Def recommend a matte protector. Recommend some stick grips. Stock ones are rather weak in that regard

Great machine, but wait for it to go on sale

This is noticeably better than the Steam Deck, but it is hard to justify paying full price for it. I mostly use it for a handful of specific PC only games is great for me because I already have a large backlog of games on Steam. A Switch 2 is probably a better option for people who don't. I did a benchmark test for Cyberpunk 2077 and it could barely hold 60fps. If you care about how things look, your best bet is to buy a PS5 or building a desktop PC.

Firstly, we recommend running and installing all available drivers updates through Legion Space, these updates are crucial to the device’s health and power regulation leading to enhanced performance. To check for updates within Legion Space begin by launching the application, then click "Disks and Drivers" located at the bottom of the display, then select "Check for Updates".

The Legion Go S can also adjust the active performance profile and fan speed of the device based on your needs. To start press the hexagonal options key located on the right controller, then select the performance tab represented by the gauge symbol, from here you can adjust the performance mode based off your needs. We recommend Performance Mode. You can also toggle this function by using holding down the hexagonal Steam key located on the left controller and tapping the Y button.

Game changer!

I’m a busy dad and haven’t had time for gaming in a while but after learning about the steam deck I did some research and came upon the legion go S Z1 Extreme. This thing made me fall in love with gaming again, super comfortable, user friendly and over all great experience playing all games. I would recommend getting joystick grips for that extra feel when playing. If battery life was a bit better I’d give it 5 stars for sure.

Word of advice, get an extra adapter if you're running windows 11 (I installed windows on mine because I have a steamdeck already). Now if you're playing on low settings you're good but performance mode you'll wanna be plugged in!

Best “computer” you can get right now! SteamOS runs perfectly and has a lot of compatible games (with mod support included). I truely love this device because not only can i play games but i can code and run virutal machines!

Regarding the battery life, depending on the demand of the game you're playing, by pressing the Legion R button to launch the quick menu, you can switch to lower power mode to save battery. In the menu, under the performance tab, users can toggle thermal modes and prioritize battery life by using the default mode or creating a custom thermal mode should you not be satisfied with the 3 presets. These adjustments can also be made by going into Legion Space > Settings (Legion Space can be launched quickly by pressing the Legion L button (Legion Logo above the button).
