Imagine Twin Peaks, The Prisoner and X-Men fused together into a hallucinogenic drug trip of a show and your starting to get some idea of what Legion is all about. The characters are mutants, but with the strangest collection of abilities you can possibly imagine. Dr Xavier's school is not mentioned and they have discussed alternative universes (even given us glimpses of the main characters lives in these alternate realities), so it is very possible (perhaps likely) that there is no Dr X or his school in the show's particular version of reality. The show is so weird that it really does come off as a Twin Peaks that can actually be followed (if you pay close enough attention to EVERYTHING!). There is literally nothing else like it on television. If you like mind bending mental trips, this my be right up your alley. I do and it's right up mine.

Enjoyed first season bu t jumped shark in season 2.

Legion is not only a great superhero show, but it is, in my opinion, one of the best TV shows out there. Visually stunning and mindbending at times, I bought this on bluray to rewatch over and over. If you're starting it for the first time and are confused, that's part of the experience! Sure enough, they do a nice, succinct summary of events later on in the seson, culimating in a very rewarding payoff. Also, the addition of the copy of the book featured in the TV show was another reason I chose to purchase the physical copy versus streaming it. I cannot recommend this show enough!

AMAZING show. This story takes place within the X-Men universe, but a lot of it won't feel like a super-hero show, which, for these types of characters, is perfect. Reminds me a bit of Twin Peaks and Silence Of The Lambs, it's entirely focused on the complex characters, rather than some big scary monster or super villain of the week. Incredible cinematography and even better score, lots of great original music and some crazy covers of classic songs. Check it out, unlike Twin Peaks, it actually ANSWERS some of the insane questions it throws at you lol.

hah this show is spectacular!!! i have no idea whats going on most of the time, they have to explain it for me to get it. this feels like a high budget movie put in episodes. its a psychedelic show which feels like a sideshow origins story for xavier from men

This show is strangely addictive - actually strange AND addictive. Based upon a character from Marvel's New Mutants comics, a lesser known one at that, it is a crazily-woven madhouse trip that takes time to digest after each episode. I watched the first season and now will binge it so I can prepare for next season. It walks a different creepy path for sure!

You need to stick with Legion for a little bit in order to make sense of the sensory overload being thrown at you, but it's worth it. This show doesn't mind going off the deep end and expecting you to keep up, and I appreciate that. Bring on Season 2 (hopefully in HD, but Fox doesn't seem that invested in their series after the first season as of late).

This is my favorite purchase of the year! Its the best show on TV. The acting, visuals, writing, music... everything is perfect. The bluray itself is perfect too. It has an incredible lenticular slipcover, the transfer is fantastic, and it goes perfectly along with my other XMen blurays.

The show loosely uses characters and lore from the X-Men comics, but even than the show feels nothing like a comic book TV show. It follows it's own ground in terms of style and storytelling and everything. Entertaining, but very off the beaten path if you're fine with that.

A unique telling of the Legion story from the pages X-Men. Noah Hawley adds his unique twist to the X-Universe. It’s not like the X-Movies and will reward you with multiple rewatches revealing layers you may not have noticed.

I have been watching this series from the beginning and decided I have to get it on blu ray. Well, Best Buy had this great series available for a great price and now I am hoping that the network puts the next season out on blu ray!! Great show!

Was waiting for this show to come out in Blu-ray, if you're a fan of Bryan Singer's X-men movie universe. Then this show needs to be added as part of your collection, it does fit into it. Add watch the show on FX network, season 2 is on.

People who fear what they cannot understand and control will be subject to repeat their mistakes. The military need to obtain supreme destructive power will not be happy until they destroy all the rogue elements who defy domination.

Great item by itself. For a limited time getting the book used in the show as a physical item closed the deal for me. Excellent show and recommended for fans of Xmen, Westworld, Matrix, thought provoking shows/movies.

Legion is very unique, visually dazzling, and strange. It's a very different take on the genre and isn't your normal super hero show. The blu-ray is solid with good picture and sound. I highly recommend it

Legion is an interesting take/view on marvel super hero. The cinematography is worth of an award and the story telling innovative. The action sequences are not limited to the customary explosion and deaths.

I've been watching this show since it premiered on fx and I had to get it on bluray. This two disc bluray set also comes with a copy of The world's angriest boy in the world just like in the series!
