The original Lego Batman on the DS was my first ever video game. I was really looking forward to it and it doesn’t disappoint and I got it quick thanks to Best Buy. Definitely recommend this game and this store.

It was a great game, made a lot of references to the movies from animated to live action. Over all very quality game. Fun change of pace from traditional Lego games

Lego Batman legacy of the dark knight is hands down one of the best games I’ve played in a while, it’s one of those games that keeps you coming back for more. Plenty of stuff to explore, plenty of bad guys to brawl with, hidden gems and Easter eggs!

I've been playing lego games since they started making them, with all of the lego Batman games being some of my favorite. This is no exception, and I have really enjoyed it. It gets repetitive at times, but it is great to look at and fun to play with my 5 year old son.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a humorous love letter to the Batman franchise. Incorporating bits of all the films, the old TV series and animated series, various comics, and taking gameplay influence from the Arkham series of games, Traveler's Tales has woven everything together into a fantastic game, easy enough to be enjoyed by kids, but with enough depth to entertain adults as well. The story can be run through rather quickly if desired, but with the vast expanse of Gotham City to explore with literally hundreds of collectibles to find and random crimes to stop and other activities, it's easy to get sidetracked and spend hours just flying or driving around the city. There are always two characters in play, Batman and one sidekick, and the player can switch between them. If more sidekicks are unlocked, they can also be swapped in, which is necessary for a lot of the puzzles and collectibles, as each character has two special abilities, many of which are needed for various interactions with the environment. Even the Batmobile gets involved with these, sometimes needed to pull a heavy object or launch missiles to blow up debris. Combat is the Freeflow system from the Arkham games, just with a layer of silliness over it. Enemies literally fall to pieces when defeated, and the takedowns include things like throwing a pie in their face, or attaching a balloon to their belt so they just float helplessly, Silly stuff, perfectly in line with other LEGO games. Gliding has been simplified from the Arkham games as well, as you just click L3 and more or less fly. Holding X will make you descend, but nothing can make you climb and you do slowly lose altitude. For this kind of game, it makes more sense to make it easy, rather than the diving and climbing to glide further in the Arkham series. The only downside I have experienced is with grappling around Gotham. For whatever reason, there are buildings it just will not let you grapple to the top of. Sometimes it's obviously done for puzzle purposes, but others, especially in free roam just don't make sense. But this is the smallest blemish on a very polished, entertaining, and just plain funny game.

My nephew is a huge Batman fan & loves playing the Lego adaptations! Says this one is his favorite thus far! Gameplay is easy to learn; storyline goes above & beyond keeping gamers tuned in! My nephew plays this on PS5 & getting to know all the Batman stories from previous films.

Easy to pick up for a little while or longer, tons of side content to do if you like collecting things. Nice to see all the batman stories wrapped into one too. Great selection of cars and suits for the characters and moving around the city is almost as fun as the spiderman games.

Imagine wanting to catch a friend up to all things BATMAN! This is it! The best lego game for Batman's story, with great gameplay. Highly recommend on PS5, but any platform is good for this.

I enjoyed the combat system, very nice. I also enjoyed the humor, and the various customes I can use. I recommend this game 100% .

This game was excellent! I particularly enjoyed the artistic style and the combat and stealth mechanics. It's a truly great game.

This game is so much fun. As a huge batman fan this one of the best games. The amount of references to batman media and even other movies and shows that have no relation to batman is amazing.100% would recommend.

It is great to finally have another Lego game.I like the references to the other Batman games and movies.The gameplay is easy to learn and feel comfortable and the story is very good.

Game has great graphites and good story line. The new suits are amazing and game play is traditional yet updated. I definitely highly recommend.
