    Purchased this set as a reward for my 4 year old today. It was the perfect first lego set! We spent about four house putting it together, and he played with it for a couple of hours after that. By the end, he was looking at the pictures, finding his bricks, and actually doing it without my guidance. He went to bed talking about playing with it tomorrow, and has gotten up already to check that it was okay. And to talk about what set he wants to do next. It was a great way to spend some quality time together, and to work on some of those motor skills.

    My son picked this out for his 5th birthday. We spent an hour assembling it. Fun set for sure, only complaint is how well things stay together after assembly.

    Daughter loves the lion family. Will add the companion set so she has an elephant family, too.
