I purchased this for my 6 year old son who hasn't played many games in the past. He definitely needs my help to guide him throughout the tougher puzzles/bosses, but you can play two players at once, which makes this a blast. I'm VERY impressed with how nice this game is. Very interactive and a well designed game.

I purchased this game about a week ago for my 13yr old ASD son and he's really enjoying playing it so far. He's loving playing through the initial levels and has just started purchasing other packs with his bday/xmas money. He loves the fact that there are so many options. The only real issue is that these toys- to- life games get very expensive very quickly. I was lucky to find him a fantastic deal on bestbuy.com with the starter pack half off @ $40! Then free two day shipping! So the kid saved a lot of money on the initial purchase which is good cuz he's going to need that money to buy all the additional packs. Much thanks to Best Buy. A fun game for the family!

Good game for kids. Entertaining for different ages!

At first I thought this was a pretty neat concept. If anyone could bring together a bunch of disparate pop culture franchises, it's LEGO. And my kids genuinely seem to enjoy all of LEGO games they've played previously. So I bought this for them for Christmas. I ended up putting together the portal. They played it once for about 15 minutes. And it's been sitting on the shelf ever since. I think this whole "figure on the base unlocks characters in the game" thing has finally reached it saturation point. Whereas Skylanders offers genuinely fun characters and Disney has the whole "nostalgia meets Marvel meets Star Wars" thing locked up, LEGO Dimensions just feels a little too gimmicky and empty to be much fun. You don't really need to build the characters and vehicles to play, and it's just a lot of pieces to keep up with. Pass.

Overall I'm really happy I purchased this item for my kid for Xmas! He loves it. It's easy but not so easy he can complete it quickly. Graphics are awesome! Only complaint is it took and hour to build the portal you have to use! Other than that it's worth the money.

I have played all the available Lego games on the 360, I was on the fence with Toys to Life aspect, but it's fun. Catch the game and accessories on sale. You pretty much have to have at least one set from every franchise offered to 100% the game.

You will have to update your machine before playing the game, and the updates destroyed the graphics card on my Xbox, which turned it into an overpriced CD player. I bought this game for my son for Christmas. He was so excited to play it, but after spending about an hour staring at the update screen, the screen went black and never came back on. I filed a ticket with Lego about the issue, but they just said it was Microsoft's problem and I needed to buy a new XBOX. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because it's actually a decent game, but definitely not worth $300.

The game is nice for kids. It's better than Disney infinity. It's just really glitch and horrible on the Xbox 360.

Great game that is lots of fun. All the different characters to play and little kits you build as you play is an amazing combo!

This item is a Christmas gift so I can't adequately evaluate it right now. My grandson is a great Lego fan and owns an Xbox 360 so this was on the top of his list.

I bought Lego Dimensions for the XBox360 for my two sons, age 14 and 4. They absolutely love it. They are teaming up to explore the different worlds and love the three packs I got to go along with it.

my kid likes this game. I like that he can add players which means this games feel interactive. He we went from skylanders, grew out of that and now lego dimensions. he also likes minecraft and like to build.
