This might be the coolest and most detailed lego set I've seen. From the moveable buttons to the circuits inside of the game cartridges this definitely hits the nostalgic factor and brought the nerd out of me.

Bought for my wife, she said it was easy to put together and is a great add to her collection. I even thought it was cool how it actually resembled a game boy- from the front, back, and buttons. Glad I went with this Lego it is better than expected and for the great price- definitely worth it!

This was honestly my 2025 set of the year. It's fun to build and looks great! It 100% plays into your sense of nostalgia and fun. I recommend this set to everyone.

This set was so much fun... brought joy with every turn of the page. The 2 games actually click in to place. You get 3 interchangable screens... and your memories will all flood back from childhood!! The on and off switch really works!! And the box alone is way better then expected

I bought this as a gift for my cousin, and we built it together. It was amazing! The nostalgia of looking at the size of it and the games that aren’t real lol it was super fun. Would buy again!

From beginning to end, this Lego set is one for that 1980’s child in all of us! Stop reading and buy it now! The ability to not only exchange the screens but also the game cartridges is extremely fun. Check out the side by side picture next to a real OG Game Boy.

I had tons of fun building this set. The nostalgia really hit me hard once I finished putting it together. I totally recommend this to anyone who grew up with the gameboy or just looking for a cool Lego set to add to your collection. Go for it. I think I’m gonna get another one just for the heck of it, that’s how much fun I had building it. It is totally worth the price and time you’ll spend working on it!

I love this Lego set. It brings me back to my childhood, my grandma had the original gameboy and would let me play aith it at her house, so this set is full of nostalgia! This is my first set and it was very fun to do, I am sure there are many more in my futue!

I buy a lot of legos of all kinds. This specific set introduces building techniques i have not seen in a set before. Having said that being able to interact with the set makes this build one of my favorites. I would hugely recommend this set to everyone.

It's crazy, looks exactly like a Gameboy did in the past

Honestly, the LEGO product is great. Best Buy is horrible for purchasing LEGO sets, though and I’d avoid them. I bought this an a gift and they sent a damaged box and had it shipped in a shipping envelope. Best Buy did send a replacement in an actual shipping box. However, the employee who packaged it sent an even more damaged set when Best Buy assured me this wouldn’t happen.

I bought this for my adult son and he could not wait to start the build. He was very excited and completed the build rather quickly as he is quite familiar with building Legos. The finished product was extremely solid and very representative of the Game Boy. It’s a little bit larger than an actual Game Boy but had the same feel. The buttons and controls actually move. The screen pieces look just like the display would and cartridges were very cool. I highly recommend.

Really good looking set. I did make a few mistakes while assembling it due to a bit of confusion from the instructions but overall, I really love the set. It's really fun to interact with it when it's completed. The buttons can be pushed and the power switch can be snapped between on and off. There's a lot of nice details to it too.
