Honestly, the LEGO product is great. Best Buy is horrible for purchasing LEGO sets, though and I’d avoid them. I bought this an a gift and they sent a damaged box and had it shipped in a shipping envelope. Best Buy did send a replacement in an actual shipping box. However, the employee who packaged it sent an even more damaged set when Best Buy assured me this wouldn’t happen.

I bought this for my adult son and he could not wait to start the build. He was very excited and completed the build rather quickly as he is quite familiar with building Legos. The finished product was extremely solid and very representative of the Game Boy. It’s a little bit larger than an actual Game Boy but had the same feel. The buttons and controls actually move. The screen pieces look just like the display would and cartridges were very cool. I highly recommend.

Fantastic price for what you're purchasing. A nice display piece with that classic Lego quality. The interactable buttons and scrolls are a really neat touch and it was a good 2 hour build to just relax and put together

Lego seems to know what people want so they keep coming back. Some nostalgia here from growing up having a gameboy. The detail is fantastic and the way the screen changes based on movement to simulate playing is great. Must have for Nintendo specific fans/collectors.

Its an amazing set if you really love little details or fun little easter eggs, and its very enjoyable to put together! So i’d recommend picking up this set if you love LEGO or Nintendo!

I really enjoyed building this and it brought back a lot of nostalgia. The pictures for the screen are a neat touch too!

It’s legos what’s not to like about it, easy to assemble, nice for display

Really good looking set. I did make a few mistakes while assembling it due to a bit of confusion from the instructions but overall, I really love the set. It's really fun to interact with it when it's completed. The buttons can be pushed and the power switch can be snapped between on and off. There's a lot of nice details to it too.

We loved the springiness of the buttons and the “cartridges”. I also liked that they had a place to store the unused ones. All very nostalgic, even got to show my kiddo how to blow in the cartridge to make it work :)

Very cool Lego set. My husband loves the different plates to swap out games along with the buttons that actually click. He even compared it to his actual Gameboy, they were in fact the same size.

this was just a fun throwback and even more fun to help my nephew put together as a gift, he loved it! great smiles, thought if it were play able, OMG!

Perfectly captures the early 90’s device. Pure nostalgia paired with incredible Lego design and engineering. Displays super well especially alongside with the Lego NES system released some years ago. I hope this Nintendo partnership expands!
