We couldnt afford one of those so we got this instead and he loved it. He built it right away and the detail when comparing it to his fender strat was spot on. Lego did an amazing job with this set.

It was fun to build and see the little details they included that are realistic. My only complaint is that I wish it was easier to build both the black and red guitar bodies and swap them out whenever you feel like it. It can be done, but it's not easy to get one off once it's been built.

The guys in his garage band think it’s pretty cool too. He finished the build pretty quick. No issues. Nice that there a choice of red or black in the kit. He went with the black. Sharp looking!
