My 6 year old loves it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My son would play this game all day & night if I would let him - it is by and far his favorite game, especially amongst the other Legos games. The game-play is sufficiently challenging and my son tends to get frustrated at times; nevertheless, though he'll ask my help at times (to which I am of no assistance as I am sufficiently "lost" when I try to aid him), he eventually figures it out and keeps on rolling. This game enhances imaginary play but is still no replacement for actual, physical interactions with the environment. However, this game is also age-appropriate and can be fun in two-player mode.

Covering all 4 films and making each section feel like the movie it is from. Controls are very responsive and the game runs smooth, except for one catch. It randomly freezes. If you can put up with having to replay levels again after you restarted your xbox because it crashed to the point of being unresponsive, then you will enjoy this game. The game crashing only happens for me with just that game. I have a brand new Xbox 360 S and everything else runs just fine, but Pirates freezes up. Well, a good point with the freezing issue is that you can replay the level again and not skip the cut scenes when in story mode. It is awesome.
