Customer Ratings & Reviews

The LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 Buildable Toy Droid (75379) is an outstanding set that strikes a great balance between display quality and hands-on play. The build process is engaging and well-designed, with clear instructions and thoughtful details that make the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Once completed, the model looks fantastic. The proportions are spot-on, the color accuracy is excellent, and the articulated features bring R2-D2’s personality to life. It feels sturdy and well-constructed, making it suitable both for display on a shelf and for light play without worrying about pieces coming loose. This set is ideal for Star Wars fans of all ages—especially those who appreciate a display-worthy model that is not overly complex but still feels premium. It also makes a great gift, as the finished build has strong visual appeal and immediate recognition. Overall, LEGO has done an excellent job capturing the charm of R2-D2 in this buildable droid. Highly recommended for collectors, casual builders, and Star Wars enthusiasts alike.

Great set I loved it a lots of pieces detail it was a great gift for my sister also great size

[Employee of bestbuy] Decent build with fun posing and play features. However what makes this a must buy for me is the Darth Malak anniversary minifigure. I love KOTOR so to finallt get a fig from that game (because i never got revan) is amazinf. The detail on the minifig is amazing, great new piece for the mouth, and amazing arm and leg printing.

Bought this for my 10 year old grandson, took him about 3 hours to construct it, and he had so much fun putting it together! He loved it! He gives it a thumbs up!

My 12 year old son built this in a day as a Christmas gift for his Dad

Been wanting this for a while! Found a great deal and quickly snagged it up. Great price, quick delivery, amazing condition. Goes great with the other buildable droids. Highly recommend!

I’m a huge Star Wars fan and I love the droids. I recently got back in to Lego a few months ago and couldn’t say no to R2-D2and C-3PO. The build was very fun nothing too crazy. Also it comes with Malak Mini figure? Yup I couldn’t say no! Haha I even bought a plate to expand the environment.

I was surprised by the result because it's beautiful. My son has loved everything Star Wars, ever since he was little.

Got it with a gift card I got for Christmas, and enjoyed putting it together with my daughter. It's a pretty decent size, so I'm happy with it.

Great R2-D2 Lego build. Was able to get this on sale. Nice Lego build and the size with C-3PO.

Great fun and good enough for me as in toughness I’m 33 so yea it was fun

Super fun and easy to put together, instructions were super clear

Being a Star Wars fan this was an excellent collection to my Legos

This is a fantastic Lego set. The building is entertaining, and the model itself looks great!

I enjoyed putting R2-D2 together. These legos sets are great and addicting.

This is a fun set to put together....BUT! Be prepared to wade through missing parts, insturctions that contain images only, and, in the end...finding that those 4-5 missing parts translates to one or two missing parts as you find the interspersed among the other bags. I ended up one part short (replaced for free on-line) and with 11 extra parts! Also: if you attach the midde leg, beware that the unit will be back-weighted and will easily fall over backwards (with parts scattered everywhere!). You can remove the middle leg or take off the footpads to add security. Also, there are no electronics so...no beeps or whistles or lights. But it is an impressive unit and I'm leaning to get the bigger one now that I know what to expect.

If you ship legos, they shouldn't br shipped with out an outer box, also dont put sickers on the retail box. Makes me not want to order form best buy just for that reason.

High quality model, not one of those with big lego pieces. No missing parts and final result looks beautiful in my man cave.

Fun build! Looks great along side the C3P0. Love the little details

This set is great. It was so much fun putting together. Love how it looks.
