LEGO Mario sets like this one are just a blast for kids. They're app-enabled, which means you can do some fun stuff with them in the associated app; Mario makes all kinds of fun noises and tracks coin counts. These sets are full of life, and kids in the 5-10 year old range LOVE them. My son is certainly having a blast!
