Very nice kit. I like that it incorporates a real differential, drive shafts with universal joints. Great for my son to get hands on buiding mechanical components similar to real cars.

After my son (9 yr old) went through dozens of the regular LEGO sets (Minecraft, First Responders, Star Wars, Jurassic Park) he was ready for a challenge. At first he was intimated by the difference in shape and number of pieces, but once we made the race car he was very proud of his accomplishment. After having on display for a few days, we took it apart to build the truck.

I own several Lego Technic sets and this is quite a beautiful one. I ended up buying it cause my son loved it and honestly I didn't think much of it by just looking at the box. Now I know the picture on the box doesn't really make it justice. Additionally, it's easy and quick to assemble but has most the operational features I look for in technic cars / trucks (working engine, steering, suspension).

The first responder model is a great addition to LEGO's 2018 lineup and a good plave to start your collection for this year. The scale and interactivability are decent. The build time isn't bad at around 105 minutes. While the SUV is intended build, I don't think the first responder roadster/racer doesn't fit the theme of the model and would look better with most of the stickers absent.

Not mentioned in the description is a front winch and two-piston engine.

I got this to do with my 4yr old who has been very good at legos so far. It outwitted my in-laws but my son and I are able to piece it together. It is great because he loves firetrucks and it is complicated enough to take several build sessions ensuring for a lot of bonding time. I haven't gotten it fully built yet so I can't comment on it's completed state or durability.

Was a blast to put together and my son still plays with it.

We love legos. They are some of the best toys you can get. They are so much fun. I bought this one for my son. He was able to do some ride along with the first responser & loved it. So we were supper excited when we saw this & had to get it.

My son loves legos and while this was a little above his age he was able to complete it. Love these sets.

This is awesome!!! It wasn't the easiest to put together, but it was a lot of fun working on it!!! And it looks so cool!!!

Building the Technic vehicles is no joke and this is a great one with a lot of cool details. Typical excellent Lego quality.

A great gift for kids! Interesting model with a medium level of combination of technical knowledge. We have enjoyed it very much!

I bought it to actually give my son something that might challenge him. It did and he loved the finished product as well.

Great legos for a person that knows how to put them together. There is lots of pieces and some are hard to use.

This is a small set and is a small investment to see if you will enjoy a more challenging set.

The new technic legos are great and my grandson loves putting them together they are a step up.

My grandson is really into Legos, but he was amazed with this toy. Great price at Best Buy, too.
