Only giving this game average, it is not one of Lego's best. But still pretty good. I was probably looking for a better story line, LOTR does have a better story line than the one chosen.

This lego games are some much fun! It's a game you don't really have to take seriously.

It's a great game and we love playing it. It has so much more to do than the previous lego games. It really makes it worth the money with so much to do. The only thing is that with so much to do, it gets a little confusing as to what you have done, where you're suppose to go, etc.

Follows the same blueprint as the other Lego games by Traveler's Tales. Lots of fun (with plenty of clean humor sprinkled in).

Awesome game for Wii, simply awesome fun for kids.

Game mechanics are a little tricky, graphics are OK at best. My son loved Lego Batman so I got this, not nearly as fun to play.

My grandson just finished reading the Hobbit and LOR books and has watched the movies. I gave him this for Christmas and his mother says he's really enjoying it. It apparently relates well to the books (all third hand information as I've never tried to play it), and h's on it for hours. May just be the novelty of the Christmas present, but so far it's a winner at keeping a nine-year old entertained. Also, as someone who's read and enjoyed Tolkein and his world for many years, I'm tickled to see the younger generation introduced through such games. Certainly Tolkein never dreamed of this kind of interactive video gameplay back in the 30s!

Typical lego wii game. Won't be disappointed, especially now at reduced price. Unfortunately played it after the wii u lego hobbit, but still an enjoyable lego game.

My kids prefer to watch me play this than watch cartoons.

So Far this game is great! Just wish I had more time to play it. Love Lego and Love Lord of the Rings, can't wait to get further into the game.

My boys (seven and ten) love this game. They would play for hours if I let them.

This is another good LEGO conversion of a popular movie. Gameplay follows the traditional storyline with lots of extra side-quests and bonuses.

My boys are 7 and 9 years old and they LOVE this game!!

The game is kind of dark for a Lego series game. Otherwise it is typical. It would definitely appeal to the Lord of the Rings afficionados.

Overall this is another fun Lego Wii game. It follows the movie storyline and requires some puzzle solving and allows for exploration in the game levels. A couple gameplay moves can be glitchy at times and don't seem to work and then they will but this does not happen frequently.

Another great Lego video game. No issues...and great for all ages. The lego games are the first video games my kids could play and helped them learn to read.
