Life is full of many surprises, adventures, heartaches and some people who bring positive actions into your life. And other people who take great pride in trying to bring great hardships into your life. Money is usually the cause or lack of it. Try to live as best as you can. Don't go looking for trouble. Because trouble will find you. There is plenty of good and bad in this world. The law is your friend so listen to your heart. I really enjoyed this movie.

My rating is a 4 star because I have seen the movie with people that can't listen and ask to many questions, in which they ruin the movie. There is a bit of narrating but its so that it can loop the movie between scenes. The movie is amusing, a bit slow, and interesting how Count Olaf (Jim Carrey) seems to be everywhere trying to become legal guardians for 3 orphans.

I could not wait to put this to the test. Charges in 5 hours and works like a charm on my velvet, silk, and cotton upholstery pillows, chairs, and sofas. Would highly recommend. I have allergies to pet dander, so for me this is a Godsend. With my Oreck Vacuum, three air cleaners, and this Bissell pet hair hand vac I now have a cat who is healthy and happy along with his owner. Did several hours of research to pick this product and am totally happy.

This was a fun movie with an interesting story and characters. Jim Carrey for the most part puts on a good performance. I felt that most of the acting was good but a few times it was pretty lame. Great movie and I would recommend this! (Also I think this came from a book so if you prefer it that way go for it!)

My kids have been reading the books and watching the series - and have really been enjoying both. I saw this in Best Buy and decided to get it. Jim Carrey is a spectacular Count Olaf! The movie is a hit in our house.

This is an older film but regardless of that, all of my children loved it! They were huge fans of the series as well so the characters and story line were so familiar. It’s definitely a fun and exciting film to watch with your kids also!

Through every step of the movie almost all of the grown-ups are oblivious to what's happening to these kids, but by sticking together and a little Ingenuity, they overcome every obstacle placed in front of them by the horrible Count Olaf, played by the scenery chewing Jim Carrey.

One of Jim Carey's best ... one of my favorites. Whimsical, magical, funny, joy-filled adventure. Wonderful soundtrack, too. Production values are perfection. Bring it back out once a year and it still remains fresh.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events is one of those weird rare children's dark comedies. This is Jim Carrey at his funniest and darkest. Also this was my introduction to Emily Browning who would later go on to star in another favorite movie of mines..Sucker Punch

Good family movie to watch together. I thought it was very interesting and Jim Carey plays his character well as he does in all his movies. I'm surprised I didn't hear about this movie anywhere. I just came across it in the $2.99 bin at Best Buy.

I always find DVDs I want of movies or TV shows that I would like to see at home when I buy at Best Buy. The discount prices on older shows are really good. This was not our first good buy at Best Buy for DVDs and it won't be our last!

My family watched this movie. It was a little strange, but we enjoyed it. My kids were 7 and 9 at the time and they enjoyed it.
