It gets the job done. I use it with my laptop which is a Hp Pavilion 1431 and it works. I like the fact that it has many fittings so it can be used with my Lenovo laptop as well. I haven't had any problems with it.

Ordered two, one for my oldest daughters Toshiba laptop and one for my youngest daughters HP netbook. Ended up exchanging the one we had gotten for the netbook as none of the tips would work with it. The exchange process was easily handled at our local store.

For the cost this item was a big disappointment. The tips fit but were very loose. The tip stuck out really far and did not seat well. Did like the idea of a USB connection. I returned this item.

Product works but the end tip should be angled. The power cord weight pulls on the adapter and it doesn't fit as straight as it should. I'm worried that it will not hold out too long.

This power adapter was defective. I contacted Best Buy and they immediately sent me a return label so I could return the item without having to pay the return shipping. The product may have been defective, but Best Buy always takes care of any issues.

The Lenmar power adapter was easy to set up and easy to use. It works with 3 different laptops that I have so I got 3 adaptors for the price of 1.

To find out which adapter tip is needed, the directions refer you to a website instead of providing a matrix. The recommended adapter for my Acer 5532 did not fit well so after switching tips many times, found L65D works best not L53D suggested. A bit frustrating - but you get what you pay for here. Once correct tip installed, worked better, but the side connection is a bit akward & can separate fairly easily. Wouldn't buy it again.

I bought this as a replacement for my HP Notebook power adapter. It was a little tricky because you have to set an optional switch to designate the proper voltage (I had already tossed out my broken adapter with the specs - bad move on my part). Once I had everything set, and put the right tip on, it powered up my laptop just fine. 2 weeks later however, it has stopped working. I guess I will just have to cough up the extra cash and buy the non-generic model directly from HP.

Forgot my power adapter for my Lenovo T520 at home 200 miles away. Checked a few different stored and ended up at Best Buy. Most of the Lenovo compatible adapter had the old style tip. Decided to give this one a try since it look promising. Sure enough it worked perfectly and is now my main power adapter when traveling. The tips should have been designed to "lock" into the cord, but it's a snug enough that I haven't had a problem thus far.

I have a Sony Vaio laptop which ive had for about 1 year. The other day the charger just stopped working completely, the light didn't start coming on or anything. I ordered this charger on Nov.28, 2011 and received it on Nov.30. I got the standard shipping. Its working great and I love it! It was really easy to figure out and im completely happy with this purchase

Got this for my brothers laptop after the one that came with his went belly up got it at a time when it was on sale for $36.99 as it were around holiday season 2013 has worked great for him
