Got this battery when my original started shorting out, thought that for the price it would be good. I couldn't have been more wrong. Battery didn't work at all, no charging or anything. Don't waste your money on this piece of garbage.

Tried to install new battery and my phone came out with message" use genuine LG products",and the phone would shut down.Contacted the manufacture and they replied after 4 days you must have a bad battery,I replied to them,how do get another battery,after another 3 days they sent me a link to the return dept. and there I would have to fill out a questionair. After that they would send me the info on where to return it......... Im mad!!!!!!!

This battery does not work with Verizon LG Ally VS740 cell phone. The Best Buy website and the Lenmar package says it is a replacement for my battery but it is not. I plugged in phone, inserted battery, phone powers up, tells me to use original equipment, and powers off. Also, seemed to take forever with customer service. All they had to tell me is return it to the store.
