I purchased Lenmar DLC2L battery on-line as a replacement for a Canon Battery Pack, and upon receipt charged it overnight for what should have been maximum efficiency. It failed almost immediately. I only got as far as partially rewinding the tape in my older Canon camcorder - the small red light that indicates a dead battery lit up almost immediately and the camera ground to a halt. As a check to insure that it wasn't the camera I plugged it into the wall - it works perfectly. Therefore I will be returning this battery to Best Buy, and as I cannot afford the $50 + price of the brand name item I will not be replacing it. (as a note, the original battery lasted more than 10 years before failure)

I initially charged until fully charged and used one time. Next time I went to use my camera it would not turn on. Used a battery tester to test the battery and there was nothing. Will be returning.

Easily looked up the battery to fit the camcorder. Battery fit and worked with camera. Battery is priced well.

Battery charged fine and works in my Canon HG10 but recording time is only about 30 minutes at the most. I should have checked before purchasing as the time wasn't mentioned in the description.
